RB Coach Duce Staley and QB Coach Josh McCown fired
Jackie Lee replied to jamos14's topic in Carolina Panthers
Where did everybody go? Where's Josh? lol -
One could argue he's a bust and you should play Dalton so you can evaluate the actual roster and Browns play calling to see if you should retain anyone at all. Bryce can actually compete for the job in camp next summer instead of being handed the job after a week like last summer
-
He wasn't really hyped up he was just handled like a no brainer #1 pick. If anything he got into weird poo with the media when he said something to effect of "There's more to life than playing football". Good for him but there are thousands of guys that fight tooth and nail just to get a chance to get noticed on a football field and possibly change their families lives forever. He came off as he could take it or leave it because he would be comfortable either way
-
The 2nd round pick went to Bryce, the 3rd and 4th rounder went to fuging DJ Johnson. That's not a haul
-
And he might be on the bench during that time period

Other games that might not suck thread

Fields might surpass Bryce's last game total yards by halftime -
He'll always have a spot at the Manning Passing Academy
-
I mean last week he basically admitted our power run game last year was our biggest strength, which he proceeded to change just to change it I guess.
-
He didn't even have a great final year at Alabama once he lost his best weapons. No clue why that and him not throwing at the combine, walking around in a hoodie and backpack because he probably gained 15 pounds of water weight, etc weren't major red flags. People say he didn't ask to come here but he did everything he could pre draft to cover up his weaknesses so yeah he kinda did
-
What are the odds they bench Bryce for Dalton at this point? Tabor was with Dalton in Chicago
-
At least Baker/Darnold/Corral could threaten a secondary with a deep ball. I swear Bryce throws at like 40mph, CJ and AR were throwing 60mph at the combine which Bryce opted out of
-
I was watching the Barry Sanders doc and I'm pretty sure it looks like Reich handed the ball off to Sanders in his last game where he said f this I'm done lol. Whoever sold Tepp on getting a couple backup qb's and a couple senior citizens as our coaching staff...I dunno. Is that like between Tepper and Fitt? Still confused about who thought it was a good idea to hire a coach that just got fired, who also admitted this is his last job because he's basically out of juice
-
Sounds like a dream roster compared to Bryce the checkdown master throwing jump balls to guys that are already in the process of getting tackled
-
Even though it's probably his fault might as well dump Reich and Fitt asap and hire a pro consultant that he contractually has no involvement with. No more hanging out in the draft room breathing over peoples shoulders
-
I think we'd be better off with any backup QB and CMC/DJ. Oh well
-
Do you think it was Levis looking pretty good that put him over the edge? lol. He must be fuming about the Vikings getting Dobbs for free as well.
-
That's what people were saying about Rhule and the last half of last season was much more enjoyable. Plus we don't have a 1st round pick so might as well try to see if the players respond to Duce/Brown/Evero better
-
Good luck finding him a therapist he's willing to actually work with without firing or paying them off to tell him whatever he wants to hear. Didn't they have a mental health professional on site a few years back?
-
Oh look CJ rushing touchdown thanks TV
-
I gotta say we fuging suck
-
Ice the kicker sure lol. why not
-
I would just fire Reich and Fitt immediately, even though Tepper is the root of the problem. At least start over with a mentality of handing over all football decisions over to a new staff, use next year to clean the slate, get a qb in 2025
