Just got to watch, doesn't sound like they're super excited about giving Carr $35M. Fitt mentioned the game getting away from drop back pocket passers. Carr's biggest knock on the Raiders boards is he freaks out when the pocket breaks down and rushes check downs, doesn't really scramble. Sam actually has some wheels, AR and Hooker have the height and both are mobile. AR has a higher ceiling, Hooker would be kinda like the best of Darnold and Teddy combined, safer with the ball than Darnold, stronger arm and better runner than Teddy

Carr isn't gonna want to mentor anyone anyway. Darnold basically said he's cool with being a backup when he was doing podcasts a while back. Probably is cool with that Josh McCown career

Could easily be Hooker, not saying he'd be top 10 in the league but he's getting the opposite treatment of Levis. One guy was horrible and gets tons of excuses, the other guy put up great stats but gets no credit. And it's not small school BS, he put up good numbers against good teams

If Stroud falls to 3 they have to do it. 4-8 could all take him. If Young and Stroud go 1 and 2 then yeah maybe look into pick 5 or 6 if you really like AR and he's still there

Yeah he's definitely not getting $8M in FA like he was due with the Bucs, probably a shitty vibe down there and I wouldn't be surprised if Evans and Godwin are wanting out

Levis should be a 3rd rounder. I'm trading up for Stroud if he's there

Can't teach this stuff, I would keep him, and would have drafted him over Horn. QB wasn't the issue with the Bears the past couple seasons

After watching last season you're more concerned with our RB's and WR's than TE? If you get a legit Olsen/Kelce/Kittle everything else opens up. I'd take AR over any of those positions if he's there at 9 in this draft. Seems like it's shaping up to pick 5-40 are about the same year one impact unless you are severely lacking at a certain position
