Who gives a feck

Their easy schedule kinda skewed things. They looked great last game though, maybe just nerves haven't settled yet
-
Yeah Eagles haven't looked this shaky all year.
-
Johnson will probably take the OC job in Philly rather
-
Sean Payton is a total tool. Him and Russ are gonna be a horrible combo
-
So he doesn't want to take a pay cut, don't want
-
Darnold hasn't earned anyone giving him a cute nickname. He played like a competent system backup for a few games

The Athletic talks about who our OC could be as of now……

Yeah I guess I mean in Cooter has had a lot more opportunity to showcase his talents and he's still just kinda where he was 10 years ago. Johnson has been ascending for the past few years. And didn't creep any women out by climbing through their windows or whatever Cooter did before someone told him to stop being a dumbass. -
What I don't like is Pickett was supposed to carve up teams at his age, and he did his last year. Hooker was tearing it up before the ACL as expected. Levis actually looked worse than the previous year, everyone started out bragging about his experience in a "pro style offense" and then halfway through the year it was nothing but excuses. Not saying you're a fan of any of these guys but a 24/25 year old should be putting up really good stats. Stetson Bennet it probably a 5th rounder and Levis is top 10, Hooker is day 2? There is definitely bias at the media level at the least

Chicago might not want to trade back all the way to 9 though. A couple people have floated the idea of us moving up to #3 and then up to #1 from 3 but I can't imagine how much capital that would take.

Technically yes for 2020. I think Trask was the Starter, AR only had 2 passing attempts that year 1 td 1 int lol. -
#3 would be ideal. I wouldn't put it past the Colts to try to move up to 1 or 2 though.

Johnson is the QB coach, a former QB himself and was OC at Florida for the 2020 season. Dunno where you got the run game thing from -

Don't feel too good about this Cooter guy. I'd much rather go with the younger talent in Philly Cooter’s offenses were characterized by a lot of passing and not much in the way of a run game. The Lions ranked ninth, 11th and sixth in passing offense in Cooter’s first three seasons but were 32nd, 30th and 32nd in rushing over the same span. Cooter’s game plans resulted in 1,000-yard receiving seasons for Golden Tate and Marvin Jones, but Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford took a beating. Stafford was sacked an average of 42 times while Cooter was the Lions’ offensive coordinator, including a career-high 47 in 2017. -
Could just be fluff but not really excited about the Levis fluff. He did obviously like the Stroud film way more, Levis just got the generic "great arm, has the size" blah blah

We've got at least a handful of capable brains to decide who should start at QB at the very least. Tepper should just let them take a ranked choice vote lol

Panthers hire Josh McCown as QB coach
Jackie Lee replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
The guy that got busted crawling into a womens bedroom window? Don't care how good of a coach he is, that would kinda put a damper on the culture thing they've done a pretty good job building so far. Reich is probably calling the plays so no reason to carry a creep on the staff just to sit in a box and relay the play calls to the QB -

Yeah that's an actual NFL coaching staff so far. I'm fine with Staley as OC, although I want him on the field and not up in the box so no problem if they land someone from the Eagles staff for the actual calling in plays thing. Pederson actually called the plays in Philly and Reich with the Colts, the OC just relayed them to the QB from the box -
I'd prefer to wait until after the draft vs when we traded for Darnold, traded away Teddy and skipped on Justin Fields probably because Rhule was embarrassed about all that trading and having a guy fall right into his lap. The level of vet QB can't really be known until we know what rookie QB's we're dealing with, some guys just need some vet presence and some guys need to sit a whole year.

I have no clue how Levis is top 10 and this guy is day 2
-
Trask I think, who just got called out on Twitter for being a slow learner
-
I think Hooker could easily come in and look similar to Geno of this year. He's a bit like Teddy but with a better arm/not afraid to throw downfield and can actually run a little bit if he wants. He did have a lot of open vertical routes but wasn't Mahomes grilled about this same kinda thing? I hate that Hooker doesn't get the benefit of the doubt even though he went 31td's to 3 int's then 27td's to 2 ints this year, but Will Levis truthers are like he's great his O-line! His Toe! Wasn't his fault!

Yeah I'm not big on position coaches aside from Campen, but he was probably going wherever Evero was going. I still can't believe we got a DC that multiple teams wanted.

Thing is they can't cut Russ til 2025 and even then it would still be an $18M dead cap each year for 25 and 26 lol. 2027 it'll be down to $8M dead cap
