If this doesn’t get you excited about Matt Corral, nothing will
Jackie Lee replied to NAS's topic in Carolina Panthers
Watching Eli's 2014-15 highlights it's mostly shotgun with a handful of play action plays under center. -
Troy pride released following failed physical.

Kenny is the kinda guy they'd let go and would immediately get playing time with the Ravens/Steelers/Bills etc. Teams that are more interested in winning than whatever is up Rhules ass with a number of potential starters sitting around doing nothing. -

I still don't get why Kenny can't get on the field. He balled out in preseason last year and we have a staff admitting they want more safety help. Gotta be a Rhule thing, not enough of a yes man -
The Rhule effect?
-
Last 2 years reeked of some Chip Kelly BS. Didn't take the Eagles 7 years to win the super bowl once they got rid of him and his total control of the roster demand
-
He surely appreciates the tenure of former college players and coaches regardless of their ability to perform at an NFL level. He doesn't care about our team, he just lucked out on a job and is gonna wear it out until he gets fired
-
Hopefully Scott and the coordinators force the decision on the final roster. Not sure how the game day inactive lists are gonna go, but Rhule might be at the point where he'll delegate everything except his job/salary to anyone in hopes of fielding a good team. Rhule could still end up being the obvious weak link in the whole situation but at least we're set up for interim HC's now. Tepper played nice in his pressers but we're obviously set up for cutting Rhule if he remains inadequate
-
I'm not sure if their views are impressive from watching enough tape to actually pick up on it, or if it was so obvious to everyone outside of our staff it took them skimming around a couple of games to figure out our biggest issue
-
I know some dislike these guys but this is a good outside opinion on how lame our coaching staff was last year at adjusting/progressing at all throughout the season. If we look the same as last year by week 5 I think Rhule/Snow are gone
-
He wasn't exactly Romo in the booth
-
So another Giovanni Ricci TE/FB project possibly? That seemed like a waste of time and roster space last year.
-
Yeah people are getting conned once again by him trying to smooth talk his way through these fresh start mini camp interviews. Give it a few losses and he'll revert back to the Rhule pressers we all remember from last year.
-
Also zero adjustments during the games. Once figured out they just kept pushing the same vanilla game plans and blaming it on execution. The slow mundane obvious losses weren't even watchable, it was so obvious we were gonna see the same things over and over again until the clock ran out
-
It was in one of the Ole Miss youtube vids. He basically said he partied like all the other freshman and sophomores did his first two years, and realized he needed to get his poo together if he was gonna actually have a chance at being the starter and getting drafted. He got his poo together, started and got drafted. Big fuging deal. Nice of David Newton to pull a TMZ on the guys first day at rookie camp.

According to Scott.... QB competition between Matt and Sam
Jackie Lee replied to Lurk21's topic in Carolina Panthers
I understand people that don't want Corral to start as soon as possible, but he will be wasting valuable time sitting behind Darnold, watching him stink it up and killing the overall stadium vibes. If he sits behind Cam it's a whole different story -
True. No matter how they sugarcoat it in pressers, the team is set up to let Rhule go at any moment. At this point all he does is make bad starting lineup decisions and waste time outs. Pretty sure Wilks/McAdoo/Tabor are instant upgrades with actual in game decision making
-
Doesn't strike me as a "Sacks happen" kinda guy. I'm glad we are pretty close to having a line of highly intelligent guys that also like to hit people.
-
Not sure what qualifies this guy as a passing game specialist or what that job entails. Baylor guys still hangin around for paychecks

I had to unfollow him today after he was licking Tom Brady's nuts constantly about getting a booth job -
Something off with these QB's named Sam.

Jeremy Fowler on Panthers QB search
Jackie Lee replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
Yup. Corral scoring 15 and Darnold scoring 28 makes no difference in watching tape and seeing that Corral can process football plays quicker than Darnold. Also the wonderlic has nothing to do with having the balls to stand in the pocket and not run around like a chicken with your head cut off. I've done sample test/quizzes and it seems like a lot of stupid trick math questions. Point me towards a good free one, I'm curious to see one that's closer to whatever "official" test these guys have to take. It's like getting a food handlers license or drivers license. Just memorize a bunch of bullshit for a week, pass the test and never think about it ever again -
2021 Carolina Panther's draft picks
Jackie Lee replied to DaveThePanther2008's topic in Carolina Panthers
For Fitt wanting to be a "draft and develop" organization we have probably the worst head coach imaginable for that job. Hopefully McAdoo/Wilks/Campen get a large part of the say on who plays where and when -
Yup you can see them bracing themselves for punishment pre snap
-
They obviously don't want him to be. What are the options? Sam for Baker straight up trade? Jimmy G gets cut and signs for $10M and we just release Sam and eat the money? It's hard finding a way to get Darnold out of the building without eating the money
