  1. This is how people feel when the GM starts trading away draft picks to win now, and then we lose 3 in a row. By Rhules 4th year most these guys are gonna be free agents, including Sam who if he actually turns it around is gonna want at least 30mil a year. If we had drafted a rookie QB people would be a little more patient
  2. His knees are shot, Royce had better yards per attempt and much better catching % the last couple years. Also 3 years less wear on his body. There is zero reason to not give Freeman at least 10 touches next game at this point. If he was a free agent everybody would want him here based on these highlights-
  3. And how does Tepper feel about giving Rhule 2 Free Agent QB picks back to back years and he couldn't magically coach up either one? I don't see how Rhule gets a 3rd chance on another QB
  4. Even the Vikings were wondering why we didn't run the ball the instead of taking 35 seconds to attempt predictable pass plays. What can ya do
  5. He was a little shakey getting thrown in the Texans game out of nowhere, and then looked really good the last two games. Almost like he's improving with starter reps in practice. People want to not play him because some draft report? Or bring in a worn out vet RB with no knowledge of the playbook? Don't get it
  6. That's usually what it looks like when your tackle gets beat, CMC has been tackled like that dozens of times
  7. If they want hands Royce had an 80% catch rate over the last 3 years and he's 238 pounds so can probably get a couple yards after contact. That he only got 1 touch Sunday is mind blowing to me
  8. In college he could hit the hole inside and sprint, because he's a sprinter. Just so happens he has a better chance of finding a hole on the edges with our O-line. No clue why people are saying he doesn't have the speed. He's a couple ankle grabs away from some 30 yard runs. If my RB had 61 yards and a TD on 16 carries without a long run I'd keep running the ball
  9. It's pretty dumb, but our run game was working and we just stopped doing it in the 2nd quarter when it was a 2 point game. I think most teams try to run and keep doing it til it's not working. They aren't telling people exactly who is going to run where on the field but it's also obvious running outside is our strongest option. It can at least get teams out of man coverage instead of Brady beating a dead horse
  10. He was a linebacker in college, he straight laid out some guys running for the Jets. Knows how to lower his left shoulder for 1st down/goal line situations. It probably helps his confidence and adds a wrinkle for the opposing D to account for. Actually could have ran on that first drive, had like 5 seconds and maybe one guy in front of him
  11. I mean we have Royce who's 238 lbs, averaged 4 yards a carry and around 80% catch rate before coming here. Problem is he's getting like 2-3 snaps a game. 4-5 yards a carry is about all you can ask for. Gotta keep running and eventual guys break one, it's happened against us many times
  12. And in that mic'd up last year Shaq asking him on the sideline if he was ok. When one of your only vet leaders thinks you're overwhelmed that's bad.
  13. Why did they abandon the run on the last drive of the second quarter? Almost in field goal range to take the lead and we get 3 pass plays, a timeout and a delay of game. That's 100% on coaching.
  14. If I was a player I can't imagine being inspired by Rhule or Brady. I'd rather play for Saleh regardless of the teams records at the moment. Rhules pressers are a joke
  15. Rhule gonna start calling plays in a couple weeks to save his own ass
  16. In no huddle so the jury is out whether he just said screw Brady I'm calling the play. He'd never admit it in a presser so who knows
  17. I missed it live but saw on the lowlights, that's like the 4th int from these stupid comeback routes everyone jumps. Also why is Brady trying to go deep on the first drive of the game?
  18. The clock management is atrocious for sure. I don't think Sam is getting the plays until the clock is halfway down. Only rushing 16 times was also really strange when there was no sign it wasn't working
  19. Especially that last drive in the 2nd quarter, basically in field goal range and three pass attempts/penalties for 0 points. I feel like they were telling Sam to take what's there and play in the system, and now they're giving him no check downs and whatever routes they're running teams figured out 3 weeks ago.
  20. Even on that first int and the scrambles no WR's looked open. Gotta be something on tape that other teams are gonna abuse until coaching genius Brady throws some curveballs in
  21. I noticed the same thing, just freestyle at that point. WR's just sticking on the sideline moving back and forth, cut inside or something. Also w the injuries I dunno why Shi Smith wasn't getting more action, he had 2 targets for 20 yards and has fresh legs.
  22. He averaged 4 yards a carry today with no signs of slowing down. Insert whatever RB name you want but the running game was working better than the passing game so why abandon the run? Even the Vikings youtubers were saying run on them to beat them on PNP
  23. This is pretty much his Jets story. Some highlight plays sprinkled into a bunch of questionable decisions. I missed the first int live but just rewatched on the highlights. How do you throw an interception with 5 seconds of clean pocket? Also he was throwing 5-10 yard rockets to guys that just needed a little less heat and we'd maybe cut those drops in half today
  24. They basically had a whole season without him and still don't know what to do. Hubbard is basically at the same yards per rush attempt as CMC yet we only ran 16 times today? Pretty sure 10 more rushes would have equaled at least 1 or 2 more field goals at minimum. Def on that horrible drive at the end of the 2nd I believe it was. It all kinda blurred together today
