Seahawks still dealing. Bears stacking up on edge guys. They already drafted Austin Booker in the 5th who has been looking good in preseason. On paper Poles has this Bears roster set up nicely. Not sure what Seattle gets out of a 6th unless this guy was a definite cut. Would've been an upgrade at situational pass rush for us

Here's a recent Draft Network mock...if we actually earned the 2nd pick in the draft and didn't take a qb this place whew 1. New England Patriots Abdul Carter, EDGE, Penn State Making the full-time move to edge this fall, I expect Abdul Carter to skyrocket up draft boards. He bolds all of the boxes teams look for in a potential game-wrecker on passing downs, and has the athleticism to do it all within the front seven. 2. Carolina Panthers Will Campbell, OT, LSU It's unfortunate for Carolina that Ikem Ekwonu failed to impress in 2023. With that in mind, newly minted Carolina GM Dan Morgan (who has zero ties to Ekwonu) adds Will Campbell, a high-level athlete at the position with the technique to overwhelm opposing pass rushers.

Yeah that's about as vanilla as it gets. I doubt Steichen would run that Reich ass play in a real game lol

Also why are they throwing on 2nd and 10 in their on endzone? Especially some slow ass go routes

Panthers activate key player from PUP

If Raym has another good game Saturday I could see him pushing Cade Mays for the backup center spot. It's hopefully a waiver wire priority and wouldn't be that hard at all to upgrade from Mays, maybe Raym to the practice squad if that happens -

Decent backup in Green Bay the last few years. -

Yeah better to test the whole operation in a real game setting so you can spend the next two weeks ironing out whatever kinks pop up Saturday. That goes for Head Coaching, play calling, play execution, clock management, headset communication, etc. It's a test run for the whole operation, not just the offensive players remembering the play calls

I still don't get the Brooks thing. 1 year of production behind a really good Texas line. I guess it's the combo of that injury lingering through the whole camp for a one year wonder and moving up for XL who was also a one year wonder who has barely practiced that's not getting me too hyped on this draft. Both seemed like luxury picks for an established team

I think you keep the position based on league standings however it updates weekly. I imagine by week 4 we'll either look better than expected or the writing will be on the wall and waivers will be moot
