I would be surprised if they prioritized RB over CB. Jaycee, Dane Jackson, and Troy Hill is all we have. People find starting level RB's on day 3 all the time

I would definitely go Pearsall at 65 if he's still on the board. Won't be surprised if he goes earlier though, he's probably the next best route runner after Ladd but has a little more size and can take on more contact/contested catches

Also we need one for the future obviously, but how many targets are we expecting a rookie to get after Johnson and Thielen? If it's not a slot/route runner type guy I don't think many of those 2.7 second balls are going to a vertical guy. If BPA is a corner or edge that would have immediate impact I'd be bummed if we reached for an XL or Troy Franklin over them

Yeah that's what I was thinking would be best. On top of the new playbook, new oc, working out the cadence while learning how to identify defenses, could get really ugly without a vet C with legit snaps in the league.

According to ESPN stats, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are 24th in the league in motion at the snap, only using it 14% of the time. The team does employ motion before the snap quite frequently, though, as it runs motion %43.7 of the time in general. When asked specifically about motion at the snap, Bucs offensive coordinator Dave Canales confirmed that it's in Tampa Bay's arsenal and that it can be a big help on offense. "It's a part of what we're doing," Canales said. "It allows us to stretch the defense horizontally. All you're trying to do is create a moment of indecision for the defense and then that helps the run game, helps the pass game. Switching the responsibilities to create free-access releases at the line, that's a big part of it." Tampa Bay's low percentage of using this type of play doesn't mean that it won't increase in the future, though.
