  1. Damn it. God I hate the Bears so damn much.
  2. Wasn't this guy almost medically retired not too long ago? I'm having a hard time stomaching this signing.. He is not worth this type of contract plain and simple. If he doesn't pan out, having Phillips and Wharton signed to these insane contracts will be disastrous.
  3. I could see Rico having to wait a while.. We’ll see though
  4. Good signing by KC. They def need a more well balanced offense.
  5. The more film I watch on Lloyd, the more I hope we avoid him. He’s extremely slow and clunky. Had to look up his combine 40 time to see if I was crazy. He ran a 4.66 which confirmed my thoughts. Fwiw Leo Chenal ran a 4.53. Devin Bush ran a 4:43 He was often in the right place at the right time. Feasted on horrible throws and tipped balls. I hardly ever saw him on the field on 3rd down. I’m praying we don’t sign him.
  6. A starting level pro at 21 million who was often subbed out on 3rd down? No thanks. That’s something incompetent franchises do. There’s so many other FA LB’s that would give us similar production at a cheaper rate
  7. If we signs Lloyd, the fact that our GM who played LB has to sign the most expensive off ball LB to finally solve the issue is embarrassing. Cant even find a “diamond in the rough” at the position he should know the best.
  8. 100%. If you can’t even scout your own position that you played, then are you really a skilled talent evaluator? That’s why the Trevin Wallace pick was so disappointing. Along with the lackluster ILB FA signings he’s whiffed on. Every coach, player, etc has their own “identity” aka something they are good at and can always hang their hat on. Same with a good GM. Idk what that is for Dan Morgan. There’s not one thing I can point to that exudes confidence regarding Dan Morgan’s personnel decisions. Hopefully he proves me wrong.
  9. Do we really want to pay an ILB 20 mill a year coming off his first elite season? Jags didn’t even pick up his 5th year option.. Why not? Fred Warner makes 21 mill. Roquon Smith makes 20 mill. Lloyd doesn’t deserve to be in that range. Hard pass. There’s so many other options at ILB this offseason.
  10. No way they'd accept XL for Thomas straight up. Thomas has actually proven he can be a WR1 despite his down year. We'd prob have to throw in a 3rd as well
  11. Plus, the fact that the Jags didn’t pick up his 5th year option begs the question why not? A little strange for the projected top FA ILB, former 1st rounder to not have his 5th year option picked up. Maybe they know something that we don’t? Also, he saved by far his best season for a contract year.. Maybe it’s all nothing and he turns out to be a great FA signing, but there’s a few things with Devin Lloyd that would make me hesitant to pay him 20 mill a year.
  12. I don't disagree. Morgan has had multiple chances to address center in the draft. It's finally catching up to him
  13. Daniel Jeremiah was talking about the depth at center during the OL workouts. I've heard it a few other times as well while listening to draft podcasts. There isn't a Tyler Linderbaum level prospect, but a lot of good 3-5th round centers.
  14. We are 100% drafting a C to start. (Jones, Hecht, Law, Slaughter) I'm sure it's been Dan Morgan's plan all along. I find it smart because it's an EXTREMELY strong center draft. I'm glad Morgan recognizes that. You can't keep everyone in a salary cap world. Also, let's stop pretending that Cade Mayes was an "all world" center. He was solid, but not great. Let some other team give him 8-9 mill a year
  15. I feel like the 3rd or 4th might be a sweet spot for our next starting center. Theres some solid centers that should be there when we're on the clock.
  16. Gennings Dunker is a guy I’ve grown to admire while watching the NFL Combine. Moves great, looked fantastic in drills. One of the highest graded PFF OT’s in college football over the past few years. Plus, he’s got the look too with that mullet Lol.
  17. Devin lloyd is too expensive when you consider other alternatives that would provide us with similar production. I'd much rather have Leo Chenal. He should be much cheaper
  18. When you take the process oriented approach, you rarely get the wow factor. I still see this team 2-3 years away from a legit SB contender. The goal is to slowly but surely build the roster with great players that you know will be impactful. Give me a clean prospect like Thieneman over a guy like Faulk who has the measurables but lacks production. I use Faulk as an example since we met with him. Faulk scares the hell out of me. Not a fan. Calculated risks that might give you the “wow factor” are necessary at times, but not in the 1st round imo. Esp not for the Panthers.
  19. I wouldn’t complain if we drafted Dillon Thieneman at #19 and finally fix the FS black hole we’ve had for so long. He’s a natural cover 3 FS.
  20. Damn! Who expected this athleticism from Jacob Rodriguez?
  21. David Bailey is going to be a game wrecker. Love his tape. His measurables are just icing on the cake.
  22. Sheesh. These allegations are extremely serious… Funny that the Falcons traded their #13 pick for this guy lmao
  23. Chanel PFF grade 75.1. 18th/88 LB’s Rozeboom PFF grade 47.9. 75th/88 LB’s
