  1. Ohhh yea. 1s, that was on 3rd down according to Gabe McDonald. Found it! TMac was gone. Easy 6 if Jourdan Lewis doesn't kill Bryce. tmacgone.mp4
  2. I probably won't have time to do a true breakdown until later in the week, but I can find the play if you can give me the timeframe. I think that might have been in the second half... was it an incompletion to somebody else? I think he went to the right and TMac was left, correct?
  3. jt0.mp4 Here's where you can see his eyes and when things are happening. As already covered, JT0 wasn't looking at Bryce when Bryce looked his way and had TMac's defender starting to come into the window. At the beginning where you believe he sees JT0 open, he's scanning to see if Chuba's underneath. Chuba also ran a lazy, lazy route here. Regardless, this is a thread about TMac. There are plenty of other Bryce threads to try and carry your crusade in.
  4. That was really what it felt. It was like the entire team, Bryce included, were taking turns holding on to the "I will mess this up" stick. Haven't gotten a chance to sit down and really dig into the all-22 like I've wanted, but I remember that being the impression I had after the first half. I missed the first 10min of the second half snoring in the recliner. T_T
  5. I can't tell if he's just throwing it up in desperation or throwing it away either. Might be one of those plays where we'll have to go to the broadcast to see if they've got a closer shot that'll give more perspective.
  6. Good call re: DLew. I didn't notice how surprised he seemed by the defender already scooting by. If Nijman doesn't lose inside, DLew probably de-cleats the opponent.
  7. Already covered in the discussion. That route combo calls for the slant to be the rub for the out route. JT0 had TMac's man coming into the area and he wasn't looking at Bryce. Nijman getting blown up on the inside shoulder makes most of it a moot point.
  8. ineglible1.mp4 ineligible2.mp4 This was the ineligible man downfield call against Corbett. Let me know if that isn't it and I'll see if I can find it.
  9. Try not to let this spoil your lunch. Feels bad. T_T
  10. 10+ targets, 100+ receiving yards, 2 receiving TDs in TMac's return to the state of Arizona M A N I F E S T I N G
  11. For sure. Even arguing that taking the sack means they get a few more yards really doesn't beat out the necessity to get 7 at that point in the game being down 20-3 5min into the second half. His only options being XL + JT from his positioning to me says he should've tried to lead JT with something low. At the same time, if TMac gets the rub then Bryce likely still has time to make the throw. To be fair to TMac, if Nijman doesn't give up immediate inside pressure then Bryce is hitting XL regardless of the rub. As crappy overall as week 1 felt, TMac put out some really good tape to show what he does well while also showing where he can improve. The more he starts to settle into the playbook and concepts, the nastier he's going to be.
  12. They've gotta get TMac his first TD next week. Get him going early!
  13. Speaking of, that's one thing I'm most looking forward to from TMac + XL: their contributions blocking on the perimeter and how they improve over the course of the season. If both big bodies can start dumpstering DBs we're going to see a lot of runs bounce to the outside for chunks.
  14. Excited to see if Mukuamu still has anything in the tank. Don't know much about Akingbesote.
  15. That route combo calls for the slant to be the rub for the out route. XL would've been wide open. When he looks at JT0 (screenshot can be provided if there's doubt), JT0 isn't looking at Bryce, is still trying to get open, and has TMac's defender coming into the area. I don't disagree though that he should've at least tried to get it to somebody instead of sailing it out of bounds on 4th down. Better to give a teammate a chance than essentially give up on the play. Yosh Nijman also gave up immediate inside pressure, which was why the ball got pulled back down. I wouldn't have been mad at BY committing the cardinal sin of throwing the other direction so long as he tried to highpoint TMac in the endzone. :3 4thdown.mp4
  16. TMac looked great. Outside of running the wrong route on the 4th down that led to the ball going out of the back of the endzone, he had a solid game for a rookie WR.
  17. Might want to check the labels instead of your notes there... That is for snap counts, not points.
  18. Can't be easy on protection either consistently getting the ball snapped at the last second. Whether that's a Canales issue or a Bryce one, it needs to get figured out.
  19. Corbett's multiple high snaps hurt too because that means Bryce is going to have to be focusing more on that vs. the first step one of his keys takes. Hoping that Icky makes it back into the lineup and that the team considers inserting Mays back in as a starter if Corbett shows the same issues at practice this week.
  20. While we're still within the 24-hour overreaction window, I've found that going and looking at the film to see how PFF came up with their grade helps a lot more than just doing the usual belly aching. For example: I thought Moehrig and Turk played relatively well but their grades say otherwise. When I watch the all-22 for the defense, I'm going to be looking to see if the film matches the grade and the stat line. Trusting my eyes based on what they saw in the moment Sunday over what they see when the film is slowed down and I can get more information just doesn't make much sense to me.
  21. Lemme double check filters. Pretty sure I had on regular season. EDIT: Confirmed. These are the grades.
  22. I'm surprised by the grades for Turk + Moehrig because during the game they seemed to always be in on a tackle before Turk left the game. Bryce's grade surprises me as well, but seeing some PBLK grades... Corbett - 27.7 Nijman - 38.4 Chuba - 27.1 Dowdle - 14.0 Thank goodness for the guards and TMo. TEs did okay in PBLK as well, but their RBLK grades were horrible (Tremble 34.5, JT0 56.4). TMo had a rough RBLK grade as well (48.8).
  23. Top 5 Grades Offense 1. TMac (78.9) 2. Hunt (74.1) 3. Bryce (71.1) 4. Chuba (66.3) 5. TMo (65.4) Defense 1. Jaycee (75.4) 2. Mike Jackson (73.6) 3. A'shawn (69.9) 4. Nick Scott (67.7) 5. Ransom (64.5) Bottom 5 Grades Offense 13. XL (53.9) 14. JT0 (51.2) 15. Tremayne (50.8) 16. Dowdle (40.9) 17. Tremble (39.8) Defense 14. Turk (53.6) 15. Scourton (52.0) 16. Moehrig (51.0) 17. PJ2 (49.7) 18. Trevin (29.7)
