  2. Still made the SB and Bryce still played the Iggles close soooo not sure what kind of dub you think you've gotten yourself At least the halftime show was fun. Was better than the game.
  3. The thing that frustrated me the most (going strictly off of his 2024 tape) was seeing how there was more than a few plays where the entire DL would be making contact but Williams was still in his stance. I understand that he had an injury that would impact his burst off of the snap, but we're talking he hasn't moved and other guys are pushing the OL back... That was something that just kept popping up. There's a part of me that wants to go back and look at how he looked last season. He's got the right measurables, but I expected a lot more production out of him. Considering the injuries, he did what he was supposed to do... but seeing more than a few plays where he's still got his hand in the dirt while his teammates are attacking linemen really put a pause in me.
  4. pre-combine EDGE rankings Abdul Carter (Penn State) James Pearce Jr (Tennessee) Mike Green (Marshall) Nic Scourton (Texas A&M) Donovan Ezeiruaku (Boston College) JT Tuimoloau (Ohio State) Kyle Kennard (South Carolina) Princely Umanmielen (Ole Miss) Mykel Williams (Georgia) Shemar Stewart (Texas A&M) Jack Sawyer (Ohio State) Antwaun Powell-Ryland (Virginia Tech) Bradyn Swinson (LSU) Landon Jackson (Arkansas) Jared Ivey (Ole Miss) Ashton Gillotte (Louisville) Jordan Burch (Oregon) Ahmed Hassenein (Boise State) Josaiah Stewart (Michigan) David Walker (Central Arkansas) Tyler Baron (Miami) Fadil Diggs (Syracuse) Kaimon Rucker (UNC) Sai'vion Jones (LSU) JJ Weaver (Kentucky) Que Robinson (Alabama)
  5. You spent several paragraphs saying that you don't care about the combine because you don't think any of it translates and you trust the same eyes that tell you Bryce is barely serviceable... You could've just said that you're going to be glazing T-Mac until the draft.
  6. You ask how is he a bigger, faster, and stronger prospect but when told we have to wait for definitive measurements your response is that those measurements that you're requesting are meaningless? I understand that you're passionate about drafting the kid, but willfully rejecting additional data points that answer your question(s) while engaging in strawman fallacies does not exactly show that you're willing to have a rational discussion about him... especially given as to how you're also insisting that Bryce is a "barely serviceable QB" that was the "biggest bust in draft history" (your words exactly). It's giving the impression that you're more interested in being right than you are learning/sharing/discussing info.
  7. ......you good? This is a weird response to somebody trying to have a good faith convo about the kid as a prospect, especially someone that's mentioned being supportive of drafting him.
  8. To be fair, we haven't seen T-Mac's combine measurables yet. They're going to be comparing him to Evans all day, especially since he went at #7 and wasn't considered the best WR in his class. Hunter is currently considered WR1 and Sammy Watkins ended up being the first WR off of the board when Evans was drafted.
  9. Don't let the folks that were pissed off about Netflix see this!!
  10. This is starting to match @rippadonn's Matt Corral obsession.
  11. Great opportunity for him! Getting to work under and learn from Capers, Evero, and Cooley is awesome for a player trying to break into coaching.
  12. Funchess never ran dudes over. He was just a big body that was a great athlete. That's what I see with T-Mac: a smooth athlete that is going to glide by but not bully smaller DBs. Being a much better route runner with much better hands definitely makes him a much better prospect, that's why we're talking about him in the top 15 vs. the 2nd round where Funchess was drafted.

  14. Man... part of me wants to say yes to this, another is hesitant. On the surface, I could see Thielen + day 3 selection for Kupp being enough to make something happen, but the Panthers would be taking on an additional $20M against the cap and losing a late round flier just to get 3yrs younger at the position (well... to be fair, 3yrs younger + producing at a high level). On the flipside, Thielen has played more than well enough and Coker was getting a lot of work from the slot. Even when Thielen came back, Coker was getting a good bit of reps in the slot (though a LOT more outside than he had at the beginning while AT was out). I think that we're going to see XL/Coker/AT/Chisena returning this season with a vet FA + rookie (drafted or UDFA) added to the group. Not sure that I see the team making a substantial move for a player, but Morgan has shown he's willing to wheel and deal.
  15. Chiming in to mention that I specifically asked that question because it stuck out to me how he didn't seem to separate well against collegiate level players nor did he seem to really bully guys with his size. His game reminds me a lot of a more refined Devin Funchess. He's a shockingly smooth athlete while being a large target for the QB, but T-Mac definitely has much better hands and football instincts than Fun Fun (who was more of an athlete that played football as opposed to a football player imo). However, he doesn't explode out of his routes (tho, to be fair, he can run the whole tree) and relies on size + length to be one of those, "if he's covered, he's open" type of weapons. While I'm not thrilled at the idea of taking him at #8, it is interesting to think about how he'd pair with Bryce considering that both Bryce and T-Mac's strengths are in how they're able to navigate chaos when a play breaks down. Fifita had a 3+ second release time at Arizona last season despite it being a first read offense... just imagine what T-Mac could do with somebody like Bryce instead... I guess it's fair to say that while I asked, T-Mac's lack of separation concerns me but I'm not worried?
  16. And a box of spa towels for when they trade all of that for Justin Tucker
  17. Like I just said in Pantherscord: I can understand the passion behind trading for Myles, but I cannot agree with the rationale. Still, gotta hope that the front office at least puts a call/text in to get more info.
  18. Oh wow, I completely forgot that Mack was in the same draft class as Clowney. It is wild looking at some of the names from that year.
  19. I wonder how long it will take one of the usual haters to make this about Bryce. EDIT: Not long at all apparently lmao
  20. Good to hear! AT has been the reason why the Panthers didn't need to draft another slot WR in McConkey and his contract has been incredibly team friendly as well: 2023 - $3.3M (61st highest cap hit for a WR) 2024 - $9.9M (16th highest cap hit for a WR) 2025 - $8M (29th highest cap hit for a WR)
  21. T-Mac's lack of separation at the collegiate level does not give you any concern? He's the biggest body and has good hands, but I don't think he's the best receiver in this draft class. Hunter/Egbuka are my 1a/1b, then Tet, then Golden.
  22. Not a good year to need to spend a 1st on WR considering the generational class last year, imo. Now if the board shakes out and BPA == WR... well... gotta do what they gotta do.
  23. It is absolutely killing the Bryce haters that they can't poo up every thread this offseason about how much he sucks and will never be an NFL QB.
