  1. Smokescreen. To be real .. Cam with an offensive line gives Rhule a better chance to win and keep his job in 2022 than any other option.
  2. Pass blocking is the #1 job for a LT and Cross is really good at it. You run power behind the RT - people really don't get this?
  3. Cross is of the ilk of Neal and Ekwonu so if they will sprint to the podium for Neal or Ekwonu, they will for Cross too .. and I doubt all three are gone by 6 - I don’t think we are trading back
  4. Because Cam does not want to be a Falcon, but a Panther, what part of that can you not understand? You cannot confirm ATL did not offer him a contract
  5. Righhht .. just like it was over and he wouldn't be a Panther prior to 11/11/2021
  6. "..and we just flew ourselves to the Super Bowl by finally giving Cam what he needs to produce.."
  7. If Alexander was asked that question prior to November 11 - when Cam signed - I am almost positive he would have said the same thing - "..I don't .." Yup. Where that .gif is happens to be where the Super Bowl is this year.
  8. Yeah I'm pretty sure the plan is Cam Newton with protection and weapons. He's never had both until now.
  9. If Cincinnati's offensive line had a performance last season like ours did against the Dolphins Burrow would have been on crutches on February 13th not in the Super Bowl Cincinnati's line wasn't even close to as bad as ours was
  10. If Joe Burrow was a NYJ from 2018 to 2020 then in Carolina for 2021 - Burrow would be seen as trash too
  11. Rhule needs to win now .. but every QB in this draft, experts agree, is a project. Drafting a QB doesn't add up.
  12. Is it being a Cam nut hugger to say Newton gives Carolina a better chance to win in 2022 than any FA or QB in this draft, because he most likely does. Fans want to see Cam with time to throw
  13. Because Cam wants to be a Panther not a Falcon? Can you confirm ATL didn't offer Cam a contract? You can't
  14. The 2020 Patriots and the 2021 Panthers are two piss poor situations for QB's .. you can't fairly judge what Cam is or isnt based on the last two years. It's all good though because we're all going to get to see Cam with protection and weapons this season in Carolina. There will not be a rookie QB
  15. He didn't just not have a ton of weapons. He didn't have any. Julian Edelman played a decade with Tom Brady. Edelman played 6 games with Cam. Edelman's career high in reception yards was with Cam at QB. Cam started 15 games in NE .. he had 21 TD 10 INT ... in Mac Jones first 15 games - with a completely renovated offense - he had 18 TD, 12 INT .... yes, Cam is a vet, and Mac was a rookie, but Mac's weapons were almost completely different from when Cam was there. Last but not least, when SF made the Super Bowl in the '19 season with Jimmy G .. Jimmy had 28 TD, 13 INT .. in 16 games .. Jimmy had a mere 7 more TD and 3 more INT than Cam did in '20 - with one more game started than Cam But but but Cam only had 8 pass TD .. uh, yes, that is what will happen to your QB when there's not a TE to throw to and you're starting Damiere Byrd and an UDFA at WR
  16. You can't be serious. NE went out and signed two good TE's to big money deals after the 2020 season because in 2020 they didn't have a TE .. Cam loves throwing to his TE but he didn't have one .. and you're saying he had a great shot in NE .. unbelievable
