I don’t know enough about any of them unfortunately.

I say this to my friends a lot lately. Most coaches have a shelf life. ESP in hockey, coaches hardly make it 5 years. Only the pens and bolts coaches have longer tenure. I think the leafs coach is around the same time as rod. The average life span of an NHL coach is 2.2 years, I had to Google it. With consistent playoff flame outs and this year, it’s getting time to really consider if Rod should be our coach. Florida won the Presidents trophy one year and fired their coach midway through the next year then proceed to lose in the cup finals and win it the next year. Rod has been a godsend for us. Took us out of being basement dwellers but think this is far as he can go. Unfortunately this cheap ass organization isn’t helping either. Maybe Waddell saw something and that’s why he left for a worse team. I think Rod has lost the team. His style is taxing and clearly guys aren’t playing it on the ice. They are playing a super soft version of it which is worse than playing any other way. I said last year that the canes should consider switching from man defense to zone. We don’t have the players to play man, esp this year. They are small and the big guys like KK, Svech, Burns, are playing soft and small. I don’t know, it’s just not fun to watch like it was the past 4 years. Our game threads would light up each game with excitement. Hell I used to be Mr Positive all the time. That’s even gone. Something in that organization needs to change.

Can I choose no one to score tonight? I guess I’ll go with Carrier.

Jarvis Necas Svech has been terrible since thanksgiving. When do we hold Rod accountable

I’m going to throw a name out there because of who is coming…. Orlov played lazy ass hockey tonight. Played lazy all year. Trade him and prep for Nikishin. also, how much could we get for KK? We need a goalie horrendously bad.

Unfortunately this is true. We often get “goalied” and that carries over to scoring and motivation. Tonight, canes are getting goalied and koochie can’t stop a cold. Goalie is this team’s problem. btw, we don’t even have a hat trick this year.

The boys are 2015 bad. The team isn’t good.

Guys are players just aren’t good. @Anybodyhomemade a post this week about it. We replaced studs with duds playing money ball and it didn’t work. DUMBdons cheap ass won’t pay for a goalie.

Might as well combine the two. Tonight, 7pm action. Just win.

The team really started struggling when rod nuked the lines then kept doing it. He killed all chemistry we built. That leads to our stars not playing like stars. Mix in average goalie play, well we aren’t that good. That’s the issue. Luckily, are stars can play well and we can buy a goalie. Ask me after the back to back with NJ. I think we can all agree that winning one of the two games would be a win.

It’s clear this team is broken and needs help. What is everyone’s opinions of what this team needs to get back to playing respectable hockey. 1. 2nd center. KK is not a good player. He plays soft and can’t won’t shoot 2. Goalie. We need someone to pair with Koochie. Can’t wait for Freddie or else we will be out of a playoff spot. 3. Defense. Ghost and Walker play horrible defense. Maybe Nikishin comes this season. 4. Size. Svech has gone away from physical play. We need a couple HEAVY forwards. All our forwards are tiny.

Canes aren’t good at all. There needs to be major changes. KK is useless. Trade that guy. For the life of me I don’t know why they haven’t got a legit 2nd goalie. Svech looks slow. Aho looks slow. Burns is done. Ghost is bad at defense. I’d be shocked if the team makes the playoffs.

I can’t recall a Rod team getting outworked. Canes look 2015 bad right now. ESP against a bad team.

This one is over. If the canes didn’t get off to a fast start this year this team wouldn’t be a playoff team. After a physical game vs the rags the canes are playing sloppy and soft as baby poo and our big guns are a no go.
