  1. I don't know about fixing the problem but I do think we can drastically improve it with priority on the wire. I'd really like tepper to throw a ton of money at a scout that has a proven track record of finding good OL. whomever we have in the past has been awful.
  2. We're gonna cut some quality db's this year. I'm wondering if there are teams out there with a similar issue at the OL positions. We'll have our pick of anyone that comes across the waiver wire. What are some teams with depth or names that might be getting cut? I know Dallas has a history with producing quality pieces across the line, but know nothing about anyone else.
  3. i want to see 40+ yd throws too but i wonder if the 2.7 rule is keeping that from happening
  4. Looks like Dan Morgan got the better end of at least one of our trades... https://steelerswire.usatoday.com/2024/07/26/steelers-diontae-johnson-donte-jackson-hot-seat-2024-nfl-training-camp/
  5. wr group will be great depending on bryce. bryce will be great depending on wr group. what nightmare is this?
  6. misfire? that's a spot throw! the rb ran the route not bryce! jesus save us
  7. check the highlights at the 1:58 mark. same game. does that look slow processing to you? dude went to like his 5th read on a whole field scan in 3seconds. AS A ROOKIE.
  8. "slow processing" ....that's the first time ive heard that critique of his game. do you have examples?
  9. I like that we're going out and finding hungry guys with attitude and not Donte Jackson's. Feels like Dan Morgan is trying recreate The U in the NFL. Don't know if it will translate but it should be fun to watch. Should be a lot more aggression on Sunday. Also, I heard the comment about finding guys that don't just get to the quarterback but can get him on the ground too. Sounds like it pointed to Brian Burns' performance last year.
  10. look at it on maps. nothing around besides an amusement park.
  11. Right, 13 near center City like I said. Now take into account most of if those are actually cut off from the rest of the area unlike Charlotte and have a similar population with not much else to bring in 50k to the city every home game and it's a fairly unicorn situation. Why is that hard for you to understand? It benefits Charlotte unlike other cities.
  12. says the man that is comparing charlotte to nyc, la, san fran, and miami lol
  13. la - tourism san fran - tourism and not close to center city houston - far from center city nyc - you mean new jersey and it's cutoff chicago - just outside of center city not near businesses. plus tourism. miami - not center city and tourism tampa - in the burbs next to highway atl - this is close to our situation but atl gets a lot of tourism dc - not at all like us besides transplants seattle - close but i still say they get a decent amount of tourism due to pacNW location phoenix - might as well be in a desert.
  14. in the location it is, yea! it's not that common. not to mention charlotte FC is using the stadium as well. point me to the vast number of other cities that are similar? im waiting.
  15. there are 13 and even most of those are still physically cutoff from the city by highways. (see pittsburgh) Plus, charlotte has a very diverse population and many transplants. we aren't a city based on tourism or entertainment. you want to believe it's the same but it aint.
  16. *applying a generalized study of sports teams in american cities to a specific situation, is not "facts". Canes fan forum is somewhere else, why are you here? if you want to love on a team that plays a basic sport, go live in that city. no one even cares about it until playoffs. why bother?
  17. Pass. 1. it's hockey. (like watching pong, on the slow levels) 2. i've never once parked more than a 15min walk to the stadium. AND i get to enjoy the much better tailgate experience spread throughout uptown.
  18. transplant city containing a large population of fans from all over, willing to pay to see their team play in person. with the stadium strategically positioned by hundreds of restaurants and bars. show me a similar city in that research to charlotte. you go ask those businesses in uptown if it matters. im not a bot but unlike you im actually a fan of the panthers and enjoy them in my city. you can go kick it in Raleigh and watch hockey.
  19. yea that'll show em! take our team away and go make revenue for local businesses in another city why don't ya?! ....meanwhile i'll sit here in the fall and rewatch shows on the streaming app i paid $200 for this year. HOW DARE THEY ask for pennies on the dollar from my taxes to pay for something that improves the city i live in....
  20. ME TOO! being a young expansion team, there is very little history to hold on to here but keeping one of the best stadium set ups in the league is a huge win. the location keeps the view and the tailgating in the city. i hate giant flat parking lot tailgating. being able to walk around uptown on game day to all the different tailgates spread out between the buildings and parks, is the best. We should aim to have the oldest stadium in the league and be proud of it.
  21. everyone before rookie season: we need to let him develop. give him a few years. qb's are too rushed to produce now. you after 16 games: he's a bust.
