How anyone can look at the talent on this defense and find a way to blame the DC… Lol

I understanding wanting to see the team perform better, but what do people expect? This is the least talented football roster in the NFL by far.

It wasn't. Teams just didn't have a reason to attack us. Teams played us hella conservative. Teams combined for 481 pass attempts against us. The next closest was 506 (Cardinals). When teams actually needed to put up points against us, they did it with ease. In the 4 games we scored 20+ points, we gave up 37, 42, 42, and 33 points. We were dead last in turnovers forced. This isn't me arguing against Evero. I still think he's a good DC. But this defense was behind the rest of the NFL in defensive talent last year, and it has only gotten worse this season. There is no way I can look at our depth chart and think this defense stands a chance. This is definitely the worst front seven in Panthers history. And no Shaq or Jewell? It is about to get even worse. I was impressed that we got the stops that we did yesterday.

What is he supposed to do? This is by far the worst defense in the NFL when it comes to sheer talent. We've got guys like Nick Thurman and Nick Scott starting. They suck.

I mean that was Chase's 1st catch of the game. Horn has been guarding Higgins, which makes sense.

I mean... this team sucks, especially the defense. I'm just happy we're looking competitive. I'm actually surprised it took Chase that long to get his first catch. Don't get me wrong, it was a bad play, but I know this team is gonna struggle. All things considered, we've done a nice job today considering how much more talented the Bengals are than us.

Can't even get mad about that. Chase is elite.

I'm loving how we are attacking on offense. We are taking our shots downfield, but still establishing the run game and taking the easy throws underneath to keep ourselves in manageable 3rd and 4th down situations. And we are keeping Burrow off the field. We've been in a position to score every drive, but Diontae drops and a good goal-line stand by Cincy has stopped us. But man the play calling has been fantastic, best I've seen in years
