  1. Offense has looked great today. With that said, why does Shula always overthink himself with those overly complicated screen plays? They almost never work.
  2. Only rolling with 4 WRs and 3 RBs for this game. Scott Simonson is active for the game. Interesting.
  3. Honestly, I can't remember the last Panthers regular season game that matched the excitement that I have for this game. There have been games with bigger playoff implications, but I'm looking forward to this game more than I have any Panthers non-playoff game in an extremely long time. There are so many questions that can be answered by this team today. Are we as good as we think we are? Can we finally beat the Seahawks? Has Cam Newton taken that next step completely? Regardless of if we win or lose, the most important thing is how we play. Seattle is a very good football team that plays their best ball at home. I want to see a turnover-free, competitive game from the Panthers. And on the subject of regular season games I have highly anticipated, this is probably up there for me with: 2008 MNF vs Buccaneers, 2013 MNF vs Patriots, 2013 vs Saints (2nd game). There are probably a couple of more like from 2005, but we had kind of a big gap between playoff appearances. I guess you could throw '14 vs Falcons (2nd game) in there, but that was basically a playoff game.
  4. Allen has 3 inches on Addison, and that doesn't account for strength. Allen is extremely strong.
  5. This defense sucks without Luke. Our strength is defending the underneath, we apparently can't do it without him.
  6. Has that screen play ever worked out for us outside of like, that Jets game? I mean, why does he still call it?
  7. Honestly, barring a spectacular performance from our D or Cam Newton going balls out, I don't see how we win this game Sunday. Our OL is going to get massacred.
  8. People actually thought there was a chance Brown would get cut? Yea, he played like trash a couple of weeks ago but if you guys haven't noticed, all of our receivers (sans maybe Funchess) are trash, at least without Benjamin around to take #1 attention. He was never not safe.
  9. Andrew Norwell has the height to slide out to tackle and he played some tackle in college. However, after how well he played at guard last year, it seems pointless to experiment him at tackle just to play Mathis there. Mathis might be able to contribute for a year or two, but I'll take my chances with the possibility of Norwell being a long-term fixture at guard rather than Mathis being a 1 to 2 year stop gap solution.
  10. Our good late round and UDFA picks last year really helped us out, giving us the ability to do that. I'm really beginning to like the depth everywhere on our team sans offensive line and safety.
  11. All aboard the La'el Collins and Devin Smith train!
  12. Yea, what he should have done is take TJ Clemmings, the raw tackle who fell to the 2nd round unsurprisingly. You guys act like DJ Humphries wasn't pretty much guaranteed if he fell to 25. Gettleman sticks to his board. Just so happens the best player on his board played defense because three of our top offensive options got taken (Gurley, Peat, Humphries). Gettleman isn't going to reach for a player.
  13. What makes you think we will limit him to linebacker?
  14. There is difference between being a receiver who can make plays downfield from time to time and a receiver who can consistently burn you deep and causes concern for DBs. Ginn gets open downfield once every so often, but it is so inconsistent it doesn't really matter. A true, consistent deep threat are guys like DeSean Jackson, Antonio Brown, so on and so forth. Guys who DBs fear. Nobody fears Ted Ginn.
