  1. Then you are either a Bryce fan, or not paying attention. Hell, Young fans won't even admit he's short.
  2. I want to believe, I truly do. But every time I see a picture of him I can't help but be worried for his parents. They must be a mess before every game. Is this the game my baby boy comes home in pieces? I just hope we get our monies worth before the wheels fall off. Cuz it's probably going to be exciting watching him run for his life every week.
  3. And it is all deserved. He is going to be the smallest guy on the field. He knows it. We know it. The football ppl know it. Hard to be a chip when it's a fact. I guess he could have a chip with the parents for not getting him a few more inches on the height thingy. The Bryce ppl have to stop protecting the guys height. It ain't a secret. He tiny. It's ok for you to say that. Edit to add, It seems like a stretch to have a chip when you were the 1st pick. Or is that just me?
  4. Bada Ching Well done sir. Bravo to your bravery. For tis nobler to suffer the slings and arrows. Than to admit we may draft a JV QB. Now it may be a lot of fun while it lasts. I mean good things come in small packages and all.
  5. Are you one of those, keep the receipts, kinda guys? I honestly don't know how you folks do it. I have a hard enough time keeping up with folks with whom I actually want to converse. Let alone adding...how many other meaningless souls? Sheew, that seems like a whole lotta work I tell ya what.
  6. My mother-in-law had instilled in my wife the belief that if she could think it. It could happen. I will say that life is never boring around those people. As an aside, My favorite recent quote was "Never say never. I never say..." Priceless. Things you think of in the middle of the night.
  7. Dude. I'm going to have to sleep on this one. He's shorter than my 8th grade QB. I am actually afraid for his safety. But it's going to be fun until the wheels fall off, I tell ya what.
  8. My favorite saying when playing WII golf is "Sometimes the numbers work". I like stats that back up film. And I abhor comparisons. Other than that, I will agree that there is a whole lot that goes into making that #1 pick,
  9. Can you promise this? Cuz I don't want to give my heart to some little pipsqueak just to have it broke in two. Like I'm afraid that's going to happen to him. Why oh why do I have to pin my hopes on the littlest engine in the yard. I guess it will probably be kinda exciting while it last though. So I got that going for me.
  10. I hip with this. The kid sure likes things to go the way he wants them to. Don't weigh, don't run. I'mma do it my way. And we may wind up with this entitled little squirt.
  11. Now wait a sec. Is there some hard and fast rule that limits the amount of...village idiots one forum can have? Cuz It sure looks like a convention up in here. lol
  12. The hell you say man. It's a jungle out there. Tis not for the faint of heart. Plus, most of it is truly quite humorous. He wins some, and he loses some. I'll take his brand of humor over quite a lot of other content I tell ya what.
  13. Tell me you didn't get enough hugs growing up. Without telling me you didn't get enough hugs growing up.
  14. In short order, this place went from toxic, to insufferable. At least a lot more of the post are humorous nowadays. I like funny
  15. Oh boy that was close. I was starting to see short people everywhere I looked. I can feel the Force gaining strength. There's a bad wind a comin, mark my words.
  16. Oh, I get it. And up until just recently it was a fun back and forth. But it is no longer just good fun. There are battle lines being drawn up. I know that's a little over the top. But man, it's scary up in here.
  17. I was more talking about the quote above yours. I was wondering if someone could decipher it for me? I see how folks can be excited for Young. For me? He's to effing small to waste a 1st pick on. Sure, he can run around for a few years, then we will be right back where we are right now. Picking another QB.
  18. But none of that addresses the main question. Stroud fans seem more willing to accept Young. But the Young folks are just insufferable. I'm almost to the point I don't want anything to do with him. It's like when your aunt keeps trying to make you eat her pickled eggs.
  19. Is it just me? Or are the Stroud folks more willing to accept Young? Whereas, the Young crowd will not accept any other result?
