How the heck did you become a Panther fan? I spent 37 years in Alpena, and Flint. Moved to SC in 88. When we got the Panthers, I was excited to be getting in on the ground floor of a brand-new franchise. I still follow the lions, but the Panthers are my team now. Oh, and go Green.

Are we going to call out every coach of a middling team that fires a coach? Or just Rivera? These types of firings happen every year.

What about Scott Turner? He's been around the league his whole life, so he probably has plenty of connections. Maybe he can put together a young staff that can add some much-needed energy to this stogy old place.

I got my first smart phone about 2 years ago. I just could not stand that little writing. Having to enlarge, then scroll, just to read 1 post just got to me. If I have anything of import to say, I'm on the laptop. Of course, 2 years ago I had an actual life.

How can you use a phone for the Huddle. I tried it for about an hour and could not stand having to enlarge the print just to read. It's either laptop, or nothing in this house. lol

I love this place. It has everything you could ask for. Some good football talk, some occasional knowledge getting dropped, and of course getting under the skin of those who shall not be named. It's all fun.

Well, to be fair. Nitpicking is kinda what he Huddle does. Someone posts a thought, and the rest of the Huddle nitpick it til it bleeds. Rinse and repeat.

Yeah, the Sam haters are a funny lot. Their hatred is so ingrained they can't think straight and go after anything that is not negative, Even though not one person has said they want Sam back as a starter. You see how that fact escapes them, and they go off their rockers. Funny really how they always think insulting is the answer. Same with Rhule. If you said anything remotely positive. They get so upset they get kinda freaky. And not in the good way.

Still having a difficult time not insulting ppl with a differing opinion I see. Not one person wants Sam back as our starter. But don't let that stop you from a good insult.

I asked a simple yes or no question, and you can't even do that without it having to be quantified. You'd probably cut off your thumb than give Sam the credit he deserves for almost getting us into the Playoffs. Who cares what he was. Those last 6 games were exciting. Well, 5-6 I guess. Bye

So the team went from 1-5 to almost making the Playoffs. And Sam gets absolutely none of the credit? Zip, nada, zilch credit? That is a yes or no question. I don't need anything else. I know your stance. So just answer the question.

Saying that Sam played well enough to take a 1-5 team to almost making the Playoffs. That is a fact. And he deserves some credit for that. That said. I'm in the camp of play Matt, or the rookie, and tank for ????
