I found the following explanation. " Most Christians would agree — the levitical law that wins the prize for weird is Deuteronomy 22:11: “Do not wear clothes of wool and linen woven together.” Why on earth did God make such an odd prohibition? I used to roll my eyes at this one. In its ancient context, though, the law had a perfectly logical reasoning. Both the priestly garments and the tabernacle weavings were a combination of wool and linen. The priest’s white undergarment was linen, and the brightly colored vestment was wool. So it was prohibited for laypersons to dress in the same way."

By the way I created a new thread to discuss this in response to this question so as not to derail this thread. -

Not at all. I want Jesus to return sooner than later so that we all can get to enjoying paradise. -
Is Drafting a WR in the 2ND Really A Good Idea?

Malik Washington out of Virginia is criminally underrated. I'm not saying he's worth a 2nd but the dude can ball. https://youtu.be/sY5-MnrEzD4?si=aitt2uzI3iR7YWpV -

Well, every day is closer to Jesus's return than the previous day. In watching the world around me it is evident that the spread of extreme ungodliness is growing rapidly. The U.S. has turned into a modern day Sodom. I hope Jesus returns today. We need him. -

I have no idea as to when Jesus will return to Earth and, honestly, I don't think too much about it. I try to stay in the here and now and to follow Jesus's commandments and teachings every day. That's all I can control. The rest will take care of itself. -

Burns is now the second highest paid DE in NFL history. I think Carolina could/should have gotten more for him. -

From the outside looking in I think a 2nd and a 5th was a bargain for the Giants to get Burns. -

I believe that the meaning of life is to become one with our creator. How about you? 1 Corinthians 15:28 ESV ...that God may be all in all.

Marvin Harrison Jr skips his media presser
Buckeye Homer replied to jayboogieman's topic in Carolina Panthers
As a Buckeye fan it was incredibly frustrating to see Marvin open only for our idiot QB to overthrow him by 20 yards. Marvin would have put up MONSTER numbers if CJ had still been QB.
