At least Army has had 2 INT's one a pick six...granted, against UL Monroe...but I'll take any success.
-
I always have to root for ECU and Army, since I'm connected to both. ECU went down hard today, and Army is trying out a new offense. Could be a rough season. LOL

And...after cutting Holton Ahlers, then signing him for the practice squad...Seattle cuts him once again. Seattle doesn't deserve this guy anyway. https://www.thecomeback.com/nfl/seahawks-release-quarterback-holton-ahlers.html

This Ricky Lee guy was signed out of nowhere by the team, clearly he impressed the Panther scouts for SOME reason. And he's continued to impress...even if he is from a small school. On the other hand, we were all scratching our heads when we first signed Cam Irving, based on his history. We've seen nothing to change that narrative. It's Ickey. Lee. And we know Christensen can also fill in at LT.

Well, Holton Ahlers was cut by Seattle. They did him dirty sending him out only in the last 2 minutes to try to win the last preseason game. Still, he was quite good in preseason despite clearly not getting a lot of reps. Hope some team picks him up.

I mean, sure. But with Burns and Houston, as well as Haynes behind them...I didn't want to seem greedy. Lol
-
If I'm the Bills, I'm gonna go after him...since Vonn Miller is PUP.

It's so hard...to say goodbye...to yesterday...

He definitely had a rough 2022.

Did anyone mention Melvin Gordon was released by the Ravens? Sorry...there's a lot of pages to sift through. https://www.nbcsports.com/nfl/profootballtalk/rumor-mill/news/ravens-release-melvin-gordon

Looks like Corey Littleton's been cut again. https://www.profootballrumors.com/2023/08/texans-to-release-lb-cory-littleton

Still, he was solid with Jets. Even better with Bridgewater throwing here in Carolina. Then utterly collapsed after that.
-
I'd keep my eye on Seattle. They're loaded with DBs. Already cut a few, including Bearcat Arquon Bush.
-
I sure hope so.

All those corners gone too. Curious considering injury history of our starters.

Man, I just don't understand releasing Spencer Brown. He was the only RB who looked productive in preseason.
-
I think Brown looked pretty good this last preseason game. Heck, he was the only RB who was productive last preseason. Foreman and Hubbard looked awful. With Sanders, I think our RB unit will be fine.

PFF Grades From Lions v Panthers Preseason Week 3
96Bravo replied to Mr Mojo Risin's topic in Carolina Panthers
Shaquill Griffin is supposedly on the bubble in Houston (I'm pretty sure they'll keep him). I'd rather have him than CJ at this point. -
Yeah, I'm so disappointed in YGM. Coming out of college, he looked like he could have been the 2nd best DE out of that draft. The size. The arm length. The alleged ability to bend the edge. And last season, he had all the chances in the world to break out. What the heck happened?

Frankly, without a lot of our starters (especially on D) and given that Reich seems to suggest we're holding plays back...I just have no idea what to expect until the regular season begins. -

Trying to figure out who's on the o-line in front of Matt. I see Lee out there. -

I refuse to judge Cam until I see some running plays from him. -

Can you tell Joe Brady is NOT the Lion's Offensive Coordinator? -

I maintain Teddy was always a good QB. Despite having garbage coaches, a bad O-line and no CMC, he still gave 2 receiver 1000 yards each his only year with us.
