  1. Yes. From now on every camp mvp will be out for the season. It'll be a new Panther tradition.
  2. I'd look at him. It's not like he hasn't played WR. He was a final cut last year though, so maybe they already have a good idea of his skills at wideout.
  3. I think Bersin and Boykin both make it. I believe 6 WR's will stick. I knew that. I plead 'posting too early with insufficient caffeine'.
  4. With KB out I think it'll be hard to cut Boykin, as long as he keeps catching passes. He's the most experienced receiver after Cotchery. There are only 5 WR's you could rank ahead of him, and of the rest, I think only Bryd has a chance to edge him out.
  5. There were 5 WR's on the roster then, with Smith, LaFell, and Ginn the only ones in double digit receptions. Don't forget Boykin and Bersin. Nobody's a replacement for Smith or Benjamin, but otherwise I think we're better at WR than in '13 or '14.
  6. Who knows? I hope we don't have to find out. Yeah the organization controls the information distribution. I'm sure they'll get the word out pretty soon.
  7. You mean having ALL-PRO under your generic avatar isn't enough? He played some RB, not receiver.
  8. I would not include Todman in that bunch. I think he's safely inside the bubble. He's looked good at RB and is a quality kick returner.
  9. Another contender for 'best UDFA find'. So many good players, so few roster spots.
  10. You haven't been paying attention. Garfield's doc, Liz, is Jon's GF. He's still pathetic, but happier about it now.
  11. Nice to see that, but it was such a bad pass it looked like it was intended for Thompson.
  12. Byrd has left the chickens and joined the chicken eaters.
  13. If he keeps catching passes and punts, and can break one once in a while, he may be a keeper, and if so, that's more impressive this year than last. A lot more talent at WR now.
  14. And maybe he'll stay healthy and have top 6 stats this season and earn his top 6 money. If not, CAP'll get his chance to show what he can do.
  15. I watched his Auburn highlights on youtube after the draft and was sold. He's not a guy you'll see run away from DBs, but he'll move the chains down the field.
  16. Considering where we were last year at this time, ain't this a great problem to have- too much talent at WR?
  17. I'm pulling for Ward to make the roster. Maybe he can play LT.
  18. That sounds good. I heard everybody including the waterboy was getting past Oher.
  19. CAP wants another number too- #1, as in number one RB. I think he'll settle for #2 this season though, although it sounds like Fozzy may have a problem with that. I hope Williams continues to improve. We need to move up to at least average on OL play.
  20. Boner quotes- Cam- "may be the best I have ever seen him." "Newton and new left tackle Michael Oher have a special hand shake they do before each series." "Colin Jones could possibly be the most improved defensive player of the offseason." "Cam Newton doesn't take a break. He continues to go through mental reps that helps him prepare." -------- Cotchery couldn't have beaten Norman. He's old and slow and due to be cut.
  21. KB looks kind of frail after that huge weight loss. Not sure he can make the roster as such a lightweight WR.
  22. "Harper: Everyone's talking about the front seven but I don't know why they can't start talking about the back 4-5" Show us something to talk about.
  23. I'm betting the Panthers lose again- same score too.
  24. Dave Glenn was making fun of this stupid ranking method on the radio today. Said it was more Kindergarden than Harvard.
