Attended my first Panthers game in 4 years
LinvilleGorge replied to Ja Rhule's topic in Carolina Panthers
Charlotte is stuck in no man's land IMO. Big enough to have the problems of a major city but not big enough and/or lacking on regional prominence to be the draw of a major city. Charlotte isn't much smaller than Denver for instance but Denver is by far the most prominent city for nearly 1000 miles in any direction. Charlotte has just always felt like it's trying to be Atlanta and that's kinda confirmed by how hoppin' mad Charlotteans get when that is mentioned. Of all the major cities to emulate, I have no clue why you'd choose Atlanta. fug the local proximity. Atlanta should be used as an example of what to try NOT to become. -
PJ ain't dumb. He's never collected an NFL check that hasn't been delivered by Matt Rhule.
-
It doesn't matter who the pick is if Rhule is still here. This team is trash until he and his crew are fired.
-
I hope so.

Thanks for the clarification. Meanwhile,

Everyone moving to NC wants to be in the mountains or on the coast unless their shitty job they desperately want to escape forces them to be somewhere in the middle. Sorry, it's just the truth. -

Well, to be fair Charlotte has always been kinda shitty so nothing new there. -
I'm clueless here.

If you're willingly watching a reality show based in Waco then you're likely immune to the horrors of living in Waco.
-
They're gonna need to see some moves on the OL
-
Any vet QB with pull is gonna nix a trade to here. That's just reality. Stafford told us that.

It's the QB and OL he wanted. If he wanted actual experienced NFL personnel people making the calls he shouldn't have demanded roster control. When you have roster control, you have no one to blame for the talent level. -
Yay. The best front office in the history of a losing organization. Good god, we can't possibly risk upsetting that!

Once Nixon got beyond the scripted plays it looked just like Brady. This team and staff sucks ass. It's past time to clean house.
-
Have you ever been to Waco? Whatever they're paying their coach, it ain't enough to suffer through living in Waco.
-
He'll probably have little issue getting at least a Baylor level job. He was playing with house money jumping from Baylor to the NFL. It wasn't like he was ditching a perennial powerhouse. There are no shortage of Baylor level jobs every year.

I'm a UNC fan but I don't discriminate against prospects. This kid looks like a damn good LT prospect.

I really hope it's just setting into him that he's a dead man walking. If OU and/or ND called, he really should've pursued.

I just hate them. Their history basically mirrors ours. We've both mainly sucked. The difference is that the couple of times they've had really good teams with a shot they've actually won it all while we've come up just short of the finish line

The Bucs are gonna repeat.

This current brain trust puts WAY too much stock in guys' former draft status. I mean, someone somewhere thought they were really good at some point. We gotta move on 'em!

Then colleges this year said, "Hold my fugin beer!" and started throwing out $100M to guys who had proven even less than Rhule at the college level. -

That's the face of a man who was once cocky and very sure he was smarter than everyone else and then... well, he found out for certain that he wasn't. But hey, he got wealthy in the process. So good for him. -
I applaud this. We need the dumpster fire to rage.
