  1. Yeah, that's my concern. I figured he'd give it another year with Brady coming back. I hope he's alright.
  2. That's my point. As long as he has final say over the roster I don't think the scouting department really matters all that much. Dumbass gonna dumbass.
  3. I think he does. I've seen nothing that indicates he doesn't have final say. Wait until Pickett is a Panther.
  4. As long as Rhule has final say does it really matter?
  5. I don't disagree with him, but this is the same dude that is STILL stumping for Sam Darnold.
  6. Mobile doesn't just equal rushing yardage. Guys like Mahomes, Allen, Wilson, Burrow, Rodgers, etc. do a lot of damage throwing on the move.
  7. Yeah, I'm not saying that Willis is a surefire bust but I think our situation would be a very bad one for him. Hell, I think it's a bad one for ANY rookie.
  8. Looked 4.5ish to me. I saw a fast QB. When a guy with sub-4.4 speed takes off it's eye popping. I didn't see anything close to eye popping speed.d
  9. The guys at Auburn were far from Dwayne Haskins though.
  10. Agreed. I think he's a 4.5s guy and if that's the case he's better off not running.
  11. Because of Dwayne Haskins. Say what you will about his disastrous NFL career, but dude put up video game stats in college.
  12. Well, coach. You've driven a lot of other folks to the bottle with your coaching too. Just check any game day thread.
  13. It's baffling. I mean, imagine what Fields would've look like playing against that level of competition
  14. Yeah, he looks like a pretty fast guy against guys who couldn't play D1 football. Vick and Lamar made high level D1 players look like they were running in wet concrete. They looked like easily the fastest guy on the field every Saturday. Those guys made really fast guys looks slow.
  15. If he could run 4.3s like folks claim he'd run. I see a 4.5s guy when I watch him. Still a fast QB but no Michael Vick or Lamar Jackson.
  16. I don't think they should be in locker rooms. I mean, damn. Give these guys some space and some privacy. They're gonna hold a media session here in just a few anyway.
  17. Yep. And they cracked last time in a similar situation during Coach K's home curtain call. I'll be rooting like hell for my Heels like always, but I think of you played this Final Four out 10 times KU cuts down the nets in at least 6 of them. They look GOOD and Nova losing their second best player out of a very short rotation hurts them bad.
  18. Did Pitt move from an offense last seen when football was played in leather sheets to a high flying modern offense this past off-season? People keep trying to make this comp happen but watching the players squashes it pretty hard.
  19. Limiting him to the TE position greatly diminished his value IMO. He's not a starting QB, but his value is in his versatility. He's a football player. Shoe horning him into any specific role takes away from his value.
  20. Truth. Good lord Elway fell for the '80s prototype guy over and over again. If he was 6'3"+ with a big arm Elway just couldn't resist. Guarantee you Carson Strong is his #1 QB this year. He can't help himself.
  21. Our actions say exactly that. Actions speak louder than words.
  22. Then the Niners mortgaged their future on Trey Lance after reportedly balking on Mac Jones because they're were getting clowned so hard. Hell, they might be every bit as bad as us at evaluating QBs so I wouldn't take a great deal of comfort in that.
  23. Yep. That's why we were desperately trying to trade for Watson and we've been heavily scouting every QB in this draft class.
