  1. The person constantly complaining about another person's opinions. I have concerns. If you don't like it, keep scrolling. Stop complaining about other people voicing their opinion. Have I been stalking you around the forum complaining about your positivity? I'm not all negative. Our last two draft classes look really positive. I think the D is heading in the right direction. I've been really impressed with Phil Snow so far. There are positive aspects. But yeah, I have some very serious concerns and I'll continue to voice them where it's relevant to the conversation. If that triggers you, just keep scrolling. It's gonna be okay.
  2. I don't see any strong reason to have a lot of faith in the staff and organization right now. There are still far more questions than known commodities right now IMO. It's just talking football. Try not to be so triggered by other people's opinions. If you don't like hearing concerns, just tune them out and keep scrolling.
  3. I don't know this staff well enough to predict it. Just stating my concerns.
  4. This all seems so easy to see. I don't know why the staff is fighting it so hard. Do they expect an All-Pro LT to just fall in their laps during final cuts? Are they just trying to play coy? It's just baffling.
  5. I didn't take the tornado warning stuff seriously. Just went on about business. I've been gone for years now but I remember growing up here. This area rarely gets extreme weather so they go way overboard when there's even the slightest chance. Breaking news! There's gonna be flurries! Better get your milk and bread! There's a small chance of a very weak, short lived funnel cloud! Take cover now! LOL!
  6. I hope so. The guy is average when healthy and he's rarely healthy.
  7. So far so good, but I'm not celebrating just yet. Gotta see it translate into Ws.
  8. Wishful thinking. It's a different ballgame dealing with a draft order and a hard salary cap vs. free for all recruiting. It's a different organizational structure too. The head coach is the king of a college program. The head coach is more like a president of an NFL team. He has a lot of power and control, but not sole authority anymore.
  9. Gross would've been a HOF RT, but he was a very good LT and a very good LT is still more important than a HOF RT so he played LT.
  10. College ain't the pros. We see it with great college players trying to make the transition and failing and we've seen it with great college coaches trying to make the transition and failing. Success at the college level doesn't always translate. So yeah, they're very green at the NFL level.
  11. I hate it for the guy but in a fuged up way this may have been for the best. He didn't look long for the NFL and this will allow him to get world class treatment and rehab for his injury and another season of NFL checks that he honestly didn't look poised to get otherwise. I wish him nothing but the best going forward.
  12. Sorry, I wouldn't be happy spending a 3rd on a guy penciled in as a long-term backup at a position that doesn't rotate. 3rd rounders should be guys you envision on developing into a guy who will at least compete to start.
  13. I don't know. Whitehead still started 9 games last year while looking like a tackling dummy on the field. Carter looked immediately significantly better.
  14. I just don't think it matters. It's highly doubtful Erving stays healthy. He could be Jonathan Ogden but it doesn't matter if he's on the sidelines in street clothes.
  15. It's a bad plan if that's the plan. I think they pretty much realize that Moton is gonna end up at LT this season. Honestly, it's a good thing. Let's find out of he can be the answer there. We're gonna hope that Erving can stay healthy but the guy couldn't even make it though the shorts and t-shirt days of camp before he was already injured. It's just highly doubtful he's going to remain available and I honestly think that's why they've focused on RT for Christensen. Moton at LT and Christensen at RT this season feels inevitable even if it's not plan A.
  16. He would have to play pretty disastrously to get yanked for PJ.
  17. Ideally, me too. But then what was the point of drafting Christensen and then focusing on him playing RT? A 3rd round pick is a steep price to pay for a guy you plan on just being a backup.
  18. I don't wish serious injury on anyone, but I hope Erving stay dinged up just enough not to play and forces our hand to play Moton at LT and Christensen at RT just to see if the answers might actually be on the roster because LT would be one helluva box to check off moving forward.
  19. Yeah, I don't know about Daniels. He has talent but he has a good amount to prove to get 1st round consideration.
  20. Just delaying the inevitable. Erving can't even make it through camp, much less the rigor of actual games.
  21. The earthquake this morning was weird. I thought a tree fell on the house or something. It was sharp loud jolt and that was it.
