  1. I mean, he threw for almost 1000 yards and 9 TDs this season.
  2. McConkey is him. I really don't know why we didn't draft him. A lot of us on here (myself included) were begging for him.
  3. My knock on Herbert going into the draft was that the Oregon staff very obviously did not trust him with the ball in big moments. They ran the ball like their life depended on it on key situations. Well... they might be feeling vindicated.
  4. Maybe we shouldn't call Bryce the nickname he's already said he doesn't like.
  5. I wish we'd had an OC who could do that back when we had Superman
  6. Stroud found his rhythm late in the half. Chargers better find theirs after half.
  7. It's the playoffs. Ain't no sliding now.
  8. Seems physically very similar to Herbert and Maye. We'll see how he plays as a full time starter. It was gonna be interesting to see if Texas would force Ewers out if he won them a natty but with them coming up short and him not playing well in the loss id say that book is closed. He's out and Arch is gonna be in. They have an entire off-season to listen to their fans and probably their boosters talking about how Arch should've been playing THIS year.
  9. He just hit a guy right in the bread basket that should've moved the chains and it was dropped. This is the worst 10 win team ever.
  10. The Texans team sucks and it has him pressing.
  11. Good lord, Herbert. WTF was that???
  12. Who cares? Most of them are criticizing hunting typing with one hand with a McDonald's cheeseburger in the other hand.
  13. Legette isn't a good receiver and it's not his fault we traded up to draft him in the 1st. He's the type of boom/bust prospect who should probably go in the 3rd round. He was better as a rookie than I expected. Let's see what he looks like. Being a miserable bastard off the field isn't going to help you play any better.
  14. Like I said, the Texans as a team just are not good. I don't think anyone is watching this game saying "damn, the Texans have a QB problem". We don't have to do this stuff just because Bryce is playing better.
  15. The Texans might be the worst double digit win team I've ever seen. Hell, the Chargers might be the second worse. The NFL this year was just the haves and have nots. There were so many truly terrible teams that there were a few mediocre teams who have records better than they should in a normal year. You have a handful of really good teams, a bunch of abysmal teams and then the rest in the middle who have records that look better than they are as a result of the overall league situation. "I forgot the Steelers have 10 wins too. They're up there too. LOL
  16. UNC and NCSU might have just concluded the worst half of basketball that's ever been played. My God that was hideous. 26-20 Heels at half
  17. There's quite a few double digit sack guys this year in the NFL that are sub-250. Hell, LT might be the greatest defensive player ever and he was sub-250.
  18. This. A few people want to try to dunk on me for being out on Bryce because he looked like trash and showed all the issues that I had on him going into the draft but he played MUCH better after coming back from being benched and looked legitimately great in the last game of the season. That's a GOOD thing. It's never been personal for me with Bryce. He seems like a great guy. It's just that he's spent most of his career looking like a guy who isn't an NFL QB. I always said that I hoped he'd prove me wrong I just don't see it happening. It's just recently that I'm seeing that he might just maybe do it and I ain't a bit mad about it. By far the best thing for the Panthers is that Bryce proves to be a great NFL QB.
  19. No Flowers is a pretty big deal.
  20. LB in EDGE clothing doesn't get 12 sacks playing a Big 10 schedule. This was the knock on Micah Parsons too and I bought it at the time. Not making that mistake again.
  21. Burns was a one trick pony coming into the draft and he largely still is. That's not Carter at all. I mean, he was largely a stand up off the ball LB prior to this season.
  22. I'm to the point that it never really shocks me when a prospect busts but honestly I see Carter as a much more developed prospect than Burns was coming out which makes sense since Carter is being talked about as a potential top 5 pick and Burns was a mid-1st rounder.
  23. I'm not just talking about rushing the passer. I'd take a lesser pass rusher if he played the run better. Burns has always been a good pass rusher but he's also always been an absolute liability when the opposing offense runs right at him. He's a good pursuit tackler but he can't set an edge or get off a block to save his life. Pretty much all of his success comes from simply beating an OT around the edge with pure speed. There's no plan B.
  24. I honestly don't see the Burns comp at all. I doubt there's any non-Panthers fans out there making that comp. Carter seems to have quite a bit more playing strength than Burns.
