  1. Nobody believes that Bryce Young actually plays at 200+ pounds. I bet his actual playing weight is closer to 185.
  2. I think the biggest advantage Tremble would have over Thomas is being on a cheap rookie contract. They both pretty much suck. Then again, there aren't a ton of quality #3 TEs on the NFL. You're third strong for a reason. Does Tremble play ST? That'd be another feather in his cap. Third stringers should be ST contributors for the most part.
  3. It honestly won't be surprising to see Hooker go ahead of him at this point.
  4. Sitting with a Cardinals 1st rounder and a Texans 1st rounder for next year has to make you the leader in the clubhouse to land one of either Drake Maye or Caleb Williams.
  5. If Porter is there I don't see us passing. Achilles injuries are brutal. Jackson might never return anywhere close to form. Henderson is terrible. Horn has been injury prone through two seasons. I think we planned to go EDGE but I doubt we planned on Porter potentially being available.
  6. Drafting a RB in the top half of the 1st = L. The Chiefs drafted a guy I thought was gonna be a 3rd rounder. The Eagles killed it on paper. The Steelers have been very un-Steelersish in recent years reaching on need.
  7. We have bandaids, I'm not sure we have any long-term solutions. Thielen is 32 and is on the decline. Chark is talented but is usually injured. TMJ will hopefully develop. On paper, this is definitely a bottom 10 NFL WR corps. Hurst is a former 1st round bust who is knocking on the door of 30. Three teams in five years basically putting up good backup caliber stats. I honestly think we significantly overpaid him.
  8. That's my concern. When you look at our offensive weapons we signed a legit top tier RB. Yay. But our receivers are a guy who has the skills but has never stayed healthy, a 32 year old on the decline, and then a bunch of unproven youngsters. We signed a bust of a former 1st round TE who is already nearly 30 and our other TEs are basically borderline NFL talents. The offensive skill positions need help.
  9. What? Nolan Smith went to the Eagles at #30.
  10. That Chiefs pick feels like a huge reach. I thought that guy was gonna be a third rounder, maybe late second.
  11. I think we rather have another pick this year. I can't see Fitts sitting patiently from #39 all the way to #94.
  12. I think it's more likely that we trade down than up.
  13. He does, but without the injury history he's a top 10 pick.
  14. Mayer already has that vet savvy. He knows how to use his size and frame to box out. I don't know if he'll be a star but I think he'll be a good NFL TE for a long time.
  15. Damn it. Another good interior DL pass rusher goes to a division rival. I don't like that. Interior rushers bother short QBs.
  16. For sure. I'd be pissed if we traded back up into the 1st at this point. The board is falling nicely for us.
  17. He's not gonna be a highlight reel guy but Jason Witten and Todd Heap weren't either and they're two of the best to do it.
  18. I do. Hurst would likely be the starter this year given his experience but Mayer would immediately be penciled in at #2 and getting plenty of snaps.
  19. That feels reachy but OU has a history of producing NFL OL. We'll see how it works out.
  20. My Eagles friend is telling me Nolan Smith doesn't make it past them at #30. They're all about UGA defenders.
  21. He ran a 4.7. Jason Witten ran a 4.65. Todd Heap ran a 4.68. Those are the comps for me. Guys that don't wow you on tape with any individual play. They're average athletes with no real highlights they just block well, get open, and catch balls. Over and over and over again.
  22. We've already tried to trade Corral for anything. We were offered nothing. Chuba would maybe next you a late rounder. Jeremy Chinn is the only potentially expendable player we have with real trade value.
  23. Very possible. The draft is always a crap shoot. Steals and busts every draft and every draft would look a lot different if it could be done in retrospect.
