  1. Yeah, if Bryce sucks or gets injured we're gonna suck OUT LOUD. At that point it's full on draft talk season anyway.
  2. The scoreboard doesn't matter. But how your starters look and the overall level of preparedness does. You don't have to get mad and just start switching up arguments to try to find something that will land. My point from the beginning here was that you're not likely to find immediate help for your pass rush in the draft unless you're lucky enough to be drafting VERY high and have a potential generational type talent in the draft. That's it, that's all. Immediate impact pass rusher help in the draft is a long shot.
  3. I'm fine with it. I'm done with trying to be the best bad team we can be. If Bryce regresses and looks like trash again then let's get as high in the draft order as we can get and hope for a strong crop of QBs to pick from. I don't want some decent backup that might be able to get us an extra win or two that accomplished nothing but pushing us down the draft board.
  4. I'm fine with drafting T-Mac. We weren't fixing all of our glaring holes in one off-season. If it eases your pain, the talk about Jalon Walker has been pretty muted so far. It's not like he's been out there looking like the next Von Miller.
  5. For this year? Nothing. Onto the 2026 draft if it plays out like this.
  6. We are HEAVILY relying on two 2nd round rookie pass rushers when pass rushers notoriously usually take 2-3 years to emerge at the NFL level outside of the very elite prospects. Your typical "good pass rusher" drafted outside of the top 10-15 picks is usually 2-3 years away from being a major contributor.
  7. I tried to provide you guys with what you wanted and you still didn't like it. But again, that's all my fault. LOL
  8. I'd prefer anything over the neverending cycle of pharma ads showing people having the time of their lives with happy music playing while a laundry list of atrocious side effects is read by the narrator.
  9. Probably not but they should. If nothing else just to embarrass them and he'll if I was Canales I'd straight up say it. If my starters are playing like third stringers then let's treat them like third stringers.
  10. Yeah, it has nothing to do with losing year after year and having a 3rd year #1 overall pick QB who we swung a massive franchise crippling trade to get and we're still basically just hoping he's not a bust. Yeah, you're right. It's all my fault. LOL If you need a place that's all sunshine and rainbows while the world burns around you, I think they made a Discord for that.
  11. Props to those of y'all still watching. I turned it off when Davis Mills looked like prime Peyton Manning patiently navigating the pocket before throwing an absolute strike over a crowded middle to convert 4th down. Like...
  12. Im not trying to be an ass, I'm just really tired of the Panthers looking like this every year
  13. Yeah, I won't be surprising at all if Arch wouldn't even go #1 next year. A lot of people are putting a lot of stock into a last name and a tiny sample size of plays. MUCH more than former than the latter. If his last name was Smith he'd just be that guy who was a #1 overall QB recruit a few years ago who has been riding the pine behind a fringe NFL QB prospect for some reason.
  14. Archie is already saying that Arch won't be in next year's draft. They want him to play four years of college ball like they all did. I mean, it's hard to argue against. If it ain't broke don't try to fix it. I have good news and bad news for you though. Tepper's Panthers are probably likely to be on play for the 2027 #1 overall pick too. Being in #1 overall conversations is just an annual Panthers tradition in the Tepper era.
  15. Yeah, he was. But a ball placement that slowed him down brought the defender back into the play resulting in a contested pass. It was just a subpar throw to a subpar receiver against an All-Pro DB. Nothing about the result should be surprising.
  16. No. Dude, just no. LOL Sanders had good separation and had to slow down allowing Stingley back into the play. Stop embarrassing yourself. The throw wasn't terrible. It was catchable. But when you're throwing to a subpar starting TE covered by an All-Pro DB these are the results unless everything is perfect. I'm not even trashing Bryce here. He threw a catchable ball. This is why I say that you're coping. You're just not watching this like an educated football viewer.
  17. Just totally different approaches from these two teams. Texans look like a team actively preparing for the regular season looking ready to go. Panthers just look like a bunch of guys thrilled to be cashing Tepper's checks.
  18. There's a word for that in football... It wouldn't have been contested with a better thrown ball but the ball was where it was leading to it being... contested.
  19. He might be shot. All those whispers about serious concerns about his knee may well have been correct.
  20. If you don't want to be accused of coping then stop doing it. How often do you honestly expect a subpar starting TE to convert passes that could've been placed better while being contested by All Pro DBs? Just give me a percentage. I'm at 90% exactly what we saw.
  21. It looks like we need to clean up everything on offense. Nothing about that was encouraging.
