Anthony Richardson is going to get people fired. People are going to get fired for drafting him if he's a bust or people are going to get fired for passing on him if he isn't. Either way, Anthony Richardson is going to be behind some NFL pink slips.

You ain't getting Tee Higgins.

I can't take credit for the specific scenario with the Bengals. That was somebody else. I'd give credit if I recalled who.
-
I mean, Meyers would've been the 3rd highest paid WR in FA last year. Kirk's contract was eye popping but then the guy went out there and put up 1100 yards and 8 TDs so maybe the Jags weren't so crazy after all. The Rams did a dumb thing with Allen Robinson paying him for the guy he was a few years ago, not the guy he is now.
-
Right now, I think Bryce Young is the guy with Richardson as the dark horse. All the "PG mentality" stuff screams Bryce Young, but the "go be Superman on 3rd down" screams Anthony Richardson. I wish I had better insight on what they're thinking, I'm just trying to make wild speculations based on cherry picked comments.

Not sure it's as much of a reset as it is just a really, really weak FA WR class.

There's just no one on the FA market that excites me in the least. It still seems to me that Chinn might be getting shopped. Another poster yesterday mentioned the Bengals as a dance partner. They lost both their starting safeties yesterday and they have three WRs who are legit starting caliber. Chinn might be a lot more valuable to them than Tyler Boyd as a #3 WR and Tyler Boyd might be a lot more valuable to us as a #1 WR than Jeremy Chinn. Hmmm...

Knock it the fug off. That's one temp ban. The rest of y'all fuging quit it too. Knock it off doesn't mean to keep pointing fingers.

Don't fall in love with any particular QB prospect. You might get surprised.
-
Agreed. Chuba might have the worst hands of any NFL skill position player I've ever seen. Like the dude is trying to catch a football with tennis rackets. Just awful.
-
I'm ready for this level of excitement and optimism again. Let's go indeed.
-
I tried to go through and clean up all the petty bickering. Y'all knock it off.
-
I think he'll probably be back. I just don't see a big market for him. He's basically a runner only as the RB position is becoming increasingly involved in the passing game.

Free agency news is coming slow when Nick Mullens is getting headlines.

Carolina willing to move Corral. Cost won’t be high.
LinvilleGorge replied to Varking's topic in Carolina Panthers
Yeah, Corral's best bet at this point is to find his way to a team with a stable environment that liked him in the draft. Maybe a team like that would kick us a conditional 6th or 7th to give him a look. ALL of our QB development resources are going to get poured into the #1 overall pick. As they should. Because all these guys are gonna sink or swim based on the success or failure of this pick. -

Corral. At least we didn't give up next year's #33 overall for Corral. -
People are getting way ahead of themselves assuming Stroud will be the pick. He might be. But I think it's far from a certainty. I'm not even sure if I'd consider him the favorite. Coaching comments keep leading me to Bryce Young.

Good for Heinicke. Never forget that dude had to basically force Ron Rivera to play Sam Howell.

OFFENSIVE SKILL POSITIONS

There's no probably about it. It DEFINITELY is.

He's pushed all his chips to the middle with this trade to #1. He's gonna sink or swim with this pick. -
IF Cam Erving comes back cheap, would you want him back?
LinvilleGorge replied to TheBigKat's topic in Carolina Panthers
Cheap? Sure. But he's made a lot of money in his career. Not sure he'd want to continue for near veteran minimum which is what is want him at. -
Why would we want to move on? The guy rebounds his ass off and gets almost all of his points off of put backs. I'd love to see what he could do with a real PG and we have one coming next year. I couldn't possibly care less about his NBA prospects. Hell, we had one legit NBA prospect on our roster the last time we won a national championship. I'll take all the great four year college players I can get and let Duke and Kentucky chase the one and dones for all I care. Give me one every now and then but I'm not selling out for them. I do think that's the way Hubert will go though. I think he has to. If you're going to run a pickup ball scheme you better just roll out more raw talent than your opponent can handle.

I think there's a decent chance Foreman will be back. I just don't think he'll have a big market. He's basically a runner only who does very little for you on the passing game. That's fine. For the right price.

I think that's coming via the draft. If the draft worked out perfectly for me, we take a TE at #39 and then a WR in the 3rd, maybe even using one of our 4ths or our 5th to package with #93 to move up in the 3rd if we need to. The guys I have in mind are A.T. Perry and Cedric Tillman.
