  1. Okay, I'm on the "fire Brady" train now. It's way too easy to defend us when we'll just run into the teeth of the D and then run all our receivers to basically the same spot.
  2. I wasn't thrilled about it either. Then when we re-signed Robby it was like... okay, seriously WTF was the point of that pick?
  3. Name me some. List some of these many guys who were 2nd round picks and late season healthy scratches as rookies who later ended up very good.
  4. Ouch. Drafting busts at positions of strength while ignoring obvious weaknesses REALLY hurts. It hurts a lot worse than reaching at a position of need IMO. Hopefully he won't bust, but damn it's not looking good right now.
  5. Yeah, cool idea I guess but awful execution. $64.50??? You cannot charge $64.50 for a shirt you literally drew up on PowerPoint.
  6. Willis is a product of a very weak schedule of competition IMO. If he was playing in a P5 conference I think he would probably be a JAG.
  7. I think we need to embrace a new identity as a team. We have a D built to get after the QB. With Cam we have a legit QB who can in combination with our weapons create a high scoring offense. Follow the blueprint of the Manning era Colts. Use your offense to build a lead then unleash hell on the other team with your pass rushers. We have shown that we're vulnerable to teams running the ball down our throats. Counter that by forcing them to throw to try to keep up. We gotta forget the disaster that was Darnold and breaking in Cam as he learned the playbook. Those teams are gone. This is essentially a new team requiring a new approach. Stop playing scared offense. Open the playbook back up.
  8. Honestly, we probably only have one more "safe" loss this year to make the playoffs. Lose two more and we're going to need significant help from other contenders face planting.
  9. Picking up the option was honestly sheer idiocy. Hell, the trade was too but the option pickup was doubling down on a bad hand. Okay, you like Darnold's talent level and want to give him a shot. Okay... *fighting urge to puke* make the trade and kick the tires. But whatever you do, DON'T sink any future guaranteed money into him until we actually have a chance to work with him and see him play. Meanwhile, Rhule and Fitts be like nah we're smarter than all the rest of these amateurs...
  10. Losing to Ron Rivera has made his transformation into Ron Rivera complete. Time to start talking about missed opportunities and executing.
  11. It wouldn't cost him any money. He'd actually get it quicker. He'd get it up front instead of as weekly game checks.
  12. Panthers win comfortably. Miami has one of the worst rushing attacks in the NFL and our D is built to feast on pass heavy attacks. They also have the worst pass defense in the NFL. This needs to be the game where we open the playbook up and get the downfield passing attack going. Obviously games aren't played on paper, but on paper we're a nightmare stylistic matchup for them.
  13. And the game. I think the WFT just gained another 12 yards running off left tackle.
  14. He's not the same as a runner. Yes, he's still very, very good but he's not as dynamic as he used to be. His arm looked damn good on Sunday but post-TJ Watt his arm has looked good in spurts but hasn't been able to hold up. If his a holds up down the stretch he should absolutely be back next year.
  15. He's not the same guy but he still has enough left in the tank to be very good.
  16. OJ got away with double murder. He can't be THAT stupid.
  17. They're sofa king good. Used to eat them every time I was up there at the now defunct Humpy's in downtown Anchorage. God that was a great bar.
