  1. Egregious mistake going off script and pointing out that Mac Jones is throwing nothing over ten yards.
  2. Jones misses a wide open WR on 3rd down. *crickets*
  3. Mac Jones completes a pass to yet another wide open checkdown. These announcers:
  4. They're sucking Mac Jones off so hard it almost makes me want to root for the Falcons. Almost.
  5. "Henry not even looking for it." "Good read by Jones." Meanwhile, the ball had just sailed 12 feet over Hunter Henry's head in the endzone. Seems blatantly obvious the announcers have been given instructions to talk up Jones tonight. Big time.
  6. Calling him a solid backup at this point is a stretch IMO. I won't be surprised if Darnold has made his last NFL active roster.
  7. I always liked Ron the man. It was time to move on from Ron the coach, but if I ever met him I'd shake his hand and tell him thanks and wish him all the best and mean it.
  8. I'd rather look at the Norv era plays. The success under Shula was mainly due to Cam being Superman. The scheme under Norv helped compensate for Cam largely losing his rocket launcher.
  9. Haven't you heard the horrors of marijuana being a "gateway drug"? One can only assume the poor guy is mainlining heroin and smoking meth by now.
  10. As far as this whole idea of pure breeds being healthier than mutts, I think it's easier to digest if you strip the basic argument away from the emotion of involving dogs. Here's the basic argument: I think I can create a healthier overall population by severely restricting the gene pool in an effort to make the most homogenous population possible. Literally every biologist's reaction:
  11. They were basically selling NFTs before NFTs we're a thing.
  12. Glad your brother is doing better! You don't have to apologize about your optimism. Even when I'm pessimistic about a move trust and believe I'll be happy if I'm wrong. I'd rather be wrong and it work out in the Panthers' favor than right and watching the Panthers struggle. I prefer my crow served with a side of Lombardi Trophy.
  13. Nothing to do with being a mod. I used the same search function that's available to anyone.
  14. What? I simply did what he asked. He asked me to show him posts where he was unhappy that Cam is playing for us. Based on the opinions he had stated multiple times (those were literally the first search options searching his posts for "Newton") I think it's very fair to extrapolate that he's not happy Cam is suiting up for us. That is unless he has changed his mind and now thinks that a washed up QB with a shot arm (his words, not mine) is a good thing to have.
  15. Did you talk to your breeder about hemangiosarcoma? That breed is wildly prone to it and it has a HEAVY genetic tendency.
  16. When the military trots his memory out there to glorify themselves (uh... I mean "him") they also leave out that inconvenient fact that he was killed by friendly fire.
  17. Both would be in the league if it wasn't for off-field stuff and ego. Kap is definitely backup/marginal starter caliber. Denver offered him a contract reflecting of that. He was insulted by it. The Golden Calf of Bristol could definitely be a gadget player for someone. Sean Payton offered him the initial shot at what would ultimately become Taysom Hill's role. He had no interest. He only wanted to be a pure QB. Then he finally took a shot at TE for his old college coach when he was past his athletic prime. The folks who want to pretend like it's all conspiracy theory about these guys for political/social reasons have to ignore a lot of reality.
  18. I love Rotties. Those are my dogs. I'll almost certainly always have one. We have our Rottie who will be 7 in December and our rescue pittie who is about 9 months old. I spent a good chunk of my professional life literally training veterinarians about nutrition. I was always baffled that I didn't get more pushback and questions. They just took my word on everything because of the logo on my shirt and I knew my poo up one side and down the other. Well, I started asking pointed questions on my own accord. If people are going to take my word on something, then I'm gonna ask the questions for them. The answers I got were good in some cases, marginal in others, and total dodging in a lot. There was some good research on some of the formulations. Very good data. Some of the others the data was marginal at best. Very small sample sizes or "results" that were within the expected margin of error. I went from hero to zero within the company very fast for calling this stuff out. I just didn't understand the "science". No motherfugers, I understand math and data. This poo your showing me is just that... poo. I walked. Sorry. I'm not going to be your pawn to continue misinformation campaigns. The whole DCM fiasco was the breaking point for me. The science on that was total dogshit. The FDA has since walked it back but that didn't get any publicity. Dogs are my entire professional life and most of my personal life. There are some very good, very ethical breeders out there. They're not the root of the majority of the breed related health issues. Backyard breeders breeding for pure profit are most of the issue. What I'm about to say next is gonna trigger some people, including a lot of breeders, but... the showring is the cause of most of the rest of the issue. Breeding primarily for cosmetic traits. Letting results in the showring lead to more and more exaggerated characteristics oftentimes to the detriment of the breed. LOTS of old school very good breeders have completely dropped out of showing. The person who literally wrote the book on AKC judging of Rottweilers is completely out of showing now. Won't have anything to do with it.
