  1. Kinda like you following me around to complain? Talk about the other games or STFU.
  2. This post is probably better suited here as this is the more active thread: I'm gonna be honest and objective about this. Look at the situation. We have a college coach who has won 10 games in two seasons. He is expected to go into next season on the hottest seat in the league. We are flailing at QB with terrible moves that are hamstringing both our draft capital and our cap space and are almost certainly poised to make another one of those moves in the near future. We have no OL. We have some nice weapons at WR and arguably the best all-around (yet injury plagued) RB in the NFL, but we reportedly plan on shopping him. If I was a legit candidate, why would I even consider this gig, especially if I'm a former HC with likely a plethora of NFL connections? Honestly, the only real answer I'm coming up with is that I already have one foot out the door of coaching and I'm looking to fleece Tepper out of a retirement check to buy another vacation home and a fishing boat. The best "positive" answer I can come up with is that I figure Rhule is certain to get fired because he's not cut out for the NFL and I think I can get an audition as the HC if Rhule gets fired mid-season. Tepper may be brilliant in the world of finance, but he's probably the biggest sucker in football right now and the word is out.

  4. That's what you're doing. I'm making a thread to discuss the other games on today (like we have everyday that there non-Panthers NFL football being played). Do that or GTFO.
  5. There's some meaningful football being played today. Here's a thread where we can discuss those games.
  6. Honestly, I can't agree with the "thank god" part of the title. This isn't the end of this nightmare. The nightmare continues as long as Rhule is here. That much I've known for several weeks now. What is becoming more clear to me is that the reality might be deeper than that. This nightmare might continue for as long as Tepper is the owner. The guy has made horrific football moves as an owner and I'm seeing no light at the end of that tunnel.
  7. Honestly, I'll probably watch the Chargers vs. Raiders. That's the most meaningful mid-afternoon game on. The winner is playoff bound, the loser is done.
  8. A reminder of how insignificant the remainder of Rhule's contract is to David Tepper
  9. My guess would be the Packers over the Chiefs but there are no truly dominant teams this year. Would I be shocked to see the Rams there or the Titan there? Not in the least.
  10. Meanwhile, you spout these "until the wheels fall off" lines while you sit in the passenger's seat watching the wheels crest the horizon. I haven't quite yet given up hope on Tepper waking up and firing Rhule. Until I do, I won't completely give up hope on the Panthers. But yeah, it's very, very close. Once it's clear that Rhule is back I'm just gonna hope like hell we don't draft Sam Howell into this dumpster fire.bat that point, yeah I'm pretty much done until the next reset.
  11. That could be the case if we fired this worthless sack of poo coach. But no QB with other options is going to sign up to play for this staff. It's not a roster issue as much as it's a coaching and leadership issue.
  12. As is everyone else with any semblance of self respect and desire to maintain somewhat balanced mental health.
  13. It means I don't watch the Panthers again in '23-'24. I was a general NFL fan with no favorite team prior to Peppers' drafting in '02. I can go back to that. I'm done as long as Rhule is here. The longer he's here the less likely I am to come back.
  14. Reddick is redundant with Burns. We suck against the run in large part because we're playing two 3-4 OLBs at DE.
  15. No. There play doesn't mean anything because they haven't done anything. Jones and Fox were brought into to help us against the run. We suck against the run. Bouye is a JAG brought in because we had some weird infatuation with adding ever CB in America this year.
  16. In my ideal word, the Bucs blow us out in hilarious fashion tomorrow and Tepper accepts Rhule is trash, fores him, and hires an offensive minded head coach who drafts Sam Howell.
  17. Luvu. Yes, that was another good one. Bouye? What's he done? Jones? Fox? No. Trash. How about Elflein and Erving? TRASH. Darnold? Paying Robby big money?
  18. Scoreboards reflect yardage now? Quick, someone alert our staff! We don't have to actually SCORE, we just have to accumulate yardage.
  19. So Matt Rhule has to hire better coaches and do a better job identifying talent. Bingo. That's why we're fuged.
  20. The needle is pointing straight down and it's 100% because of Tepper and Rhule. As long as Tepper's infatuation with this charlatan continues we're fuged.
  21. I hope we lose by 50. Until Tepper officially says Rhule is back I'm gonna hold out hope for something embarrassing enough to happen that forces his hand.
