  1. Really liked him as a prospect but he just doesn't have it between the ears. Just seems like an entitled brat. He has all the physical tools in the world.
  2. It depends for me. Our division was historically atrocious last year. If the division is significantly improved we may have a similar win total even if we're heading the right direction.
  3. This season is about a complete restart. We have a new coaching staff and a shiny new #1 overall pick QB. I think most fans just want to get reassured that it looks like we've chosen well on both fronts and have reason for hope for the future. It's less about the win/loss record for me. We were all excited as hell about the future after Cam's rookie season despite losing a lot of games because we competed and we saw there was a lot of hope for the future. I wanna feel like that again. Anything more than that in terms of wins on the field would just be a very welcome bonus for me.
  4. Yeah, I get the seasonal stuff. We bought our house at almost 8k feet in elevation in CO in the winter. Nothing moves up there in the winter. Folks come up there and see three feet of snow on the ground and single digit temps and run back to Denver. We would've almost certainly lost a bidding war if that house had hit the market in the summer.
  5. Sproles was bigger. Still a very small NFL player, but bigger nonetheless.
  6. That sucks. Read through the appraisal carefully and do your homework for the rebuttal. Did the 150 less square feet play a significant role? If so, are you sure the measurement is correct? Appraisers aren't perfect. I had the opposite experience in the sale of my home in Colorado. The appraiser measured it almost 150 feet bigger than it was. I definitely didn't say anything but I measured the house myself before we closed when we bought it. The listed figure was within 5 feet of my measurement. The appraiser was wrong, but it was in my favor so sweet. I think he probably counted the downstairs bedroom twice. He was off by exactly that much.
  7. We've cleaned the NFL forum up.
  8. Wait a minute... this is an actual real thing? They actually took the Dodgeball thing and ran with it?
  9. He was an electric college player but man, I just don't know how he's gonna survive in the NFL. They're gonna have to be really creative about how they utilize him. I honestly hope he makes it.
  10. Easy. Monday night against the Saints. Primetime games just hit different and football at night under the lights is just more enjoyable IMO.
  11. I think we might have the best pair of OTs we've ever had. I'm a little concerned at OG, especially depth. But overall I think this is one of our better OL groups.
  12. I have to wonder if guys like Deion Jones and Deone Bucannon played a role in us not wanting Chinn at LB long-term? Both of those guys were studs early on and both are similarly sized to Chinn and similar as players. Basically big safeties/small LBs both in stature and in playing style. The physical rigors of playing LB at that size definitely took their toll on Jones and Bucannon.
  13. This dude was a stud early in his career. This damn game takes a toll on you. A big part of it is staying healthy and a lot of that just comes down to sheer luck. Luck of genetics with some people just being naturally more durable than others and luck of the draw on the field. All you can really do to impact your odds is staying in shape and playing with proper technique. The rest just comes down to sheer luck.
  14. Definitely insane for one sub, but I view it as two. They're huge and feed both me and the wife so in essence it is two for our purposes.
  15. I voted Jersey Mike's. Them and Firehouse both have good cold cuts but that Big Kahuna Chicken Philly puts JM over the top for me. The wife and I buy a giant and split it.
  16. I was terrified of a small school QB with only one year of starting experience. When he looked terrible throwing the ball in his one game before COVID shutdown his final season I was pretty much all the way out on him, at least as a high 1st rounder. If he fell, sure at some point in the draft his talent would've been well worth the smaller risk. Trading up to take him high in the 1st though? I always thought that was a reckless gamble.
  17. They traded a TON to go up and get him. You really don't think they've given him every opportunity? I think he probably just sucks and he's fragile to boot. At least the guy made life changing money for himself and his family.
  18. Not to mention question marks about the weapons we've put around our young QB. I like the talent, but the group doesn't have a lot of proven production outside of the top two and one of those guys has stayed hurt and the other is on the downside of his career. I just don't think we're on the position to do it. It's really hard to pull off two huge splash trades in back to back years much less two in one off-season.
  19. We're gonna have to back the Brinks truck up for Burns. Not sure we can afford two huge money edge rushers. Not to mention swinging a trade. Gotta remember, we're already down our next two 1st rounders due to the trade for Bryce.
  20. Just saw where they've confirmed it's nothing more than a calf strain for Burrow. Are y'all gonna be sensitive about Bryce's size for his whole career?
  21. I hope it's nothing serious. The NFL is just more fun to watch with guys like Burrow out there. I hope we have us one of those types of guys again in Bryce.
  22. I'm still shocked at how wrong the NFL got that evaluation. It's like they forgot who he was as a player just because he had to turn into a poor man's The Golden Calf of Bristol his final year of college due to losing his entire supporting cast of skill position players to the NFL draft. UNC isn't Bad or UGA or OSU. They can't just bounce right back from that type of talent exodus, the depth of talent just isn't there.
