  1. The Texans might be the worst double digit win team I've ever seen. Hell, the Chargers might be the second worse. The NFL this year was just the haves and have nots. There were so many truly terrible teams that there were a few mediocre teams who have records better than they should in a normal year. You have a handful of really good teams, a bunch of abysmal teams and then the rest in the middle who have records that look better than they are as a result of the overall league situation. "I forgot the Steelers have 10 wins too. They're up there too. LOL
  2. UNC and NCSU might have just concluded the worst half of basketball that's ever been played. My God that was hideous. 26-20 Heels at half
  3. There's quite a few double digit sack guys this year in the NFL that are sub-250. Hell, LT might be the greatest defensive player ever and he was sub-250.
  4. This. A few people want to try to dunk on me for being out on Bryce because he looked like trash and showed all the issues that I had on him going into the draft but he played MUCH better after coming back from being benched and looked legitimately great in the last game of the season. That's a GOOD thing. It's never been personal for me with Bryce. He seems like a great guy. It's just that he's spent most of his career looking like a guy who isn't an NFL QB. I always said that I hoped he'd prove me wrong I just don't see it happening. It's just recently that I'm seeing that he might just maybe do it and I ain't a bit mad about it. By far the best thing for the Panthers is that Bryce proves to be a great NFL QB.
  5. No Flowers is a pretty big deal.
  6. LB in EDGE clothing doesn't get 12 sacks playing a Big 10 schedule. This was the knock on Micah Parsons too and I bought it at the time. Not making that mistake again.
  7. Burns was a one trick pony coming into the draft and he largely still is. That's not Carter at all. I mean, he was largely a stand up off the ball LB prior to this season.
  8. I'm to the point that it never really shocks me when a prospect busts but honestly I see Carter as a much more developed prospect than Burns was coming out which makes sense since Carter is being talked about as a potential top 5 pick and Burns was a mid-1st rounder.
  9. I'm not just talking about rushing the passer. I'd take a lesser pass rusher if he played the run better. Burns has always been a good pass rusher but he's also always been an absolute liability when the opposing offense runs right at him. He's a good pursuit tackler but he can't set an edge or get off a block to save his life. Pretty much all of his success comes from simply beating an OT around the edge with pure speed. There's no plan B.
  10. I honestly don't see the Burns comp at all. I doubt there's any non-Panthers fans out there making that comp. Carter seems to have quite a bit more playing strength than Burns.
  11. Yeah, I like him a lot but we have way too many needs to be sacrificing draft capital to move up. Big moves up should be limited to QBs or teams who think they're just a key piece or two away from being a legit contender.
  12. Which version of Lamar shows up today? Regular season MVP Lamar or typical playoffs Lamar?
  13. It's weird that only the QB carries a record. Everyone else on the roster is simply judged by his own individual play.
  14. I think Arch got knocked the fug out on his one snap he played. The announcers never picked up on it and talked about it but I'm not sure Arch was even available.
  15. His workouts would have to be pretty bad for him to make it to us in the 2nd. I think he probably goes in the late 1st/early 2nd range.
  16. https://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/ncaaf/2025/01/11/texas-steve-sarkisian-play-call-cotton-bowl-ohio-state/77480486007/#:~:text=Sarkisian earns acclaim for being, victory in the Cotton Bowl. Stand up move by Sarkisian to blame his players for not blocking right. Yeah bro, every play ends up in the endzone if it works perfectly as designed. Meanwhile, the OSU players are saying you very predictable go to that play in key moments and they knew it was coming. If the D knows exactly what's coming you're cooked. That's on you not your players.
  17. I think Ewers needs to regrow the mullet. He's like Samson. Cutting the mullet stole his powers. He plays like a nice clean cut kid you'd want your daughter to bring home. He needs to bring back the mullet attitude. If UNC goes after him I want it to be a requirement. Bring back the mullet or get fuged.
  18. And then you find out that Ewers was a #1 QB recruit and Howard is a super senior and you're like
  19. Yeah, I think he was basically considered a late round flyer type of pick before. I don't think he'll climb all the way to the 2nd but I won't be shocked if he sneaks into the 3rd and I'll be pretty surprised if he falls past the 4th.
  20. Yep. I've said it numerous times but Milroe needs to beg Lincoln Riley to take him. Maybe try to reach out to Jalen Hurts to help set it up. But Milroe reminds me so much of Bama Hurts. You can see he has all the talent in the world but he looks like a great athlete playing QB instead of actually BEING a QB. Bama is ready to move on and honestly he needs to move on. Bama isn't helping him and they didn't help Hurts. You basically show up in Tuscaloosa NFL ready or they'll find someone else who is.
  21. I wouldn't hate it. I mean, did you see our QBs this year? LOLOLOL
  22. I like the depth it's just light on elite prospects. Most of the draft hype is about the perceived elite prospects.
  23. Oh lord, Ewers gonna get COOKED by all the Texas fans who've been begging for Arch all year already
  24. OSU has started just flat out blowing a lot of coverages in the 2nd half. I think the Texas OC has figured out a pattern with their blitzes and he's burning them.
