  1. It's just when it's every single post and it's all you do in every thread... good grief. Get it out of your system by Thursday. Fair warning.
  2. It's just that your shtick is one dimensional. Tout Stroud and/or knock Young. Every. Single. Post.
  3. Honestly, there's some posters who have not been banned yet literally because we're all just looking forward to watching the emotional blaze of glory they go out in.
  4. You're not beating anything? Every post you make is knocking Young and touting Stroud. Get it out of your system between now and Thursday because you won't be detailing every thread with Stroud hugging after the draft.
  5. I just wonder how many folks are gonna poo post their way into bannings afterward?
  6. Now look at outside the pocket and under pressure numbers. I like Stroud but it looks like he's not the pick. You're beating a dead horse.
  7. Go argue with NFL talent evaluators. They don't like OSU's offense in terms of evaluating QB prospects.
  8. Ironically, those Golden Gophers you are mocking had the #4 defense in the country on average points allowed. Hell, three of the top four defenses were in the Big Ten including the top two.
  9. That's the knock on OSU QBs. A lot of single read plays. It's not processing speed when the play is designed to get the ball out quickly to a specific receiver. There's really nothing to process beyond is he open or not?
  10. I don't think I've seen anyone in the media come out and say specifically that so and so within the organization is for this or against this guy or that guy. If Young isn't our pick then this is the biggest, most unnecessary smokescreen of all time but as far as our actual process of arriving at that decision? I don't think anyone in the media really knows. All I've seen is a bunch of very generic speculation masquerading as "info".
  11. Rhule to Nebraska always made a ton of sense. He's been successful dragging college programs out of the gutter but he's never proven he can build on that and actually make the step toward being a contender. Well, Nebraska's glory days aren't even visible in the rearview mirror and they're deep in the gutter. If Rhule can get them out of the gutter it'll be a successful hire for them. They can worry about taking the next step once they're out of the gutter. I was seeing this potential eventual pairing as far back as early last September. https://www.carolinahuddle.com/topic/178686-luke-decock-calling-out-rhule/?do=findComment&comment=5901636
  12. Publicity doesn't mean much if you don't win. The real value is that you now have your pick of the whole litter.
  13. Trading up for Levis? YIKES. That guy screams bust to me. I'd say he's Darnold 2.0 but that feels like an insult to Darnold. At least Sam seems like a genuinely likable guy.
  14. Go and find out. You're gonna be surprised. The Overland Park area is nice. But actual KC? Woof.
  15. Ever been to KC? It's a poo hole. I used to have to go 2-3 times a year for work related trips. That BBQ is trash too. But those onion rings at Jack Stack are
  16. It's gonna take a helluva lot more than the NFL draft to get me to endure a trip to KC.
  17. I think Zavala likely goes in the 3rd. I'd be shocked to see him available at 145.
  18. I've had three realtor experiences. Two good, one bad. When buying our first house we got suckered into a bad situation because we were young, inexperienced, and in a tough spot. We needed to find something pretty fast and we were shopping with a family limited budget for the area. Long, pretty irrelevant story of how we got trapped into signing with this particular realtor but she was a completely useless moron. Luckily my wife's coworker was good friends with one of the top realtors in that area and he helped us out. He put us in touch with a great mortgage broker who really saved our ass. He basically operated as our realtor in terms of handling the contracts, date obligations on the contracts, etc. We would've been utterly fuged without him. But we bought a great house with that idiot realtor basically getting a commission to do literally nothing. I did end up reporting her to the local board but I doubt anything came of it. When we sold that house we used the realtor who helped us out for free so he ended up getting his. The house sold quickly at full list at the peak of COVID panic. Just goes to show, do the right thing and help people out even when you have nothing to gain and oftentimes it'll come back to you. When we bought our current house our realtor was a guy who grew up with my parents. It's a small tight knot community and he knows everybody. Budget wasn't a problem this time around but we had some very specific asks - namely acreage and privacy. We kissed out on our first target despite offering nearly 10% over list. We ended up buying a much better property at asking price before it ever listed because my realtor knew everyone. I actually graduated HS with the seller. She was a nurse working insane hours due to the pandemic, her husband worked from home, and their daughter was doing remote school due to the pandemic so they REALLY didn't want to have to go through the process of showings, etc. They threw out a number and having been shopping the market for awhile I knew the number was more than fair. Wrote up a contract and it was a done deal in less than 24 hours. If it had listed and gone to market it would've sold for a LOT more than we paid but everyone got what they wanted out of the deal so it was a win/win.
  19. It's really not odd. Jones sucks and he committed the cardinal sin of making some disparaging comments about the Patriots' staff and reportedly actually reached out to his college coaches at Bama to try to help the Pats' offensive staff. You can't step on Belichick's ego like that. It was reported a few weeks ago that the Pats we're evidently shopping him and not finding much of a market but no mention of their asking price either.
  20. Go do a deep dive on his stats and honestly tell me of you think this is a positive comp for a 1st round pick, much less a #1 overall pick. If we're being honest, no one remembers Doug Flutie's name as an NFL QB if he's 6'3" 220. We'd still remember the Miracle in Miami at Boston College, but the NFL? Nah. His best two seasons, Buffalo was a very good rushing offense and a pretty sorry passing offense. When he went 10-5 in '99 the Bills had the #2 defense in points allowed in the NFL. If Doug Flutie is your argument... oh wee mayne.
  21. I honestly agree with the premise of the thread. Yeah, the SEC is the best college football conference. But are they THAT much better than everyone else? Honestly I don't think so. Yeah, Bama and UGA are both top 4 programs. Bama, UGA, OSU, and Clemson just stand head and shoulders above the pack right now year in and year out. But is the rest of the rank and file SEC teams really that much better than everyone else? Honestly, I don't see it. I just think the likes of Ole Miss and Arkansas and the like enjoy chatting "SEC! SEC! SEC!" just to ride the coattails of their actually successful conference brethren.
  22. I mean, LT was a damn savage so when he immediately pops up and starts waving for the Redskins' medical staff instead of celebrating you KNOW it's bad.
  23. I don't think he's solely talking about injuries though. He's also talking about being able to effectively play the game at the NFL level at that size. Yeah, it can be done. But yeah, you've gotta be REALLY damn good and really creative to make up for the physical shortcomings. I mean, Smitty was a dominate outside #1 NFL WR at 5'9" but who else is there that fits that mold? You're kinda talking about a one of one type situation. That's what we need Bryce Young to be. One of one. Yeah, that's a big ask. That's what Parcells is getting at.
