  1. Well, well, well... looks there "That kid, he's a baller," Patterson said. "I've been watching Sam since college when he was at UNC. His future's bright. He just keeps doing what he's doing. I think he's going to be a problem in this league." https://www.si.com/nfl/commanders/news/washington-sam-howell-jaret-patterson-preseason-baltimore-ravens-carson-wentz
  2. Everywhere is. The pandemic and subsequent material shortage threw a massive monkey wrench into the supply. Ironically, now the Fed is doubling down on this supply issue with interest rate hikes. It's the only tool they have, but they're basically using a hammer when they need a screwdriver. A smart person might realize this and not pound away with that hammer but I don't think the Fed is very smart. At all.
  3. I don't know that Baker is going to work out but he's the best QB option we've had since Cam's shoulder got destroyed. That's not saying much but it is what it is.
  4. Oh, I know. He did this exact same thing with Kyle Trask last year.
  5. I'm not sure who's more delusional, @rippadonn with his Corral love fest or @Iron Saint talking about Jameis being a HOFer.
  6. These guys have never tried to "rebuild". It's just been one knee jerk desperately try to win now decision after another.
  7. Go drive in SC. Those "meh" roads now feel like driving on clouds.
  8. We didn't have a chance. He went 8 spots ahead of Corral and we had to trade up to get Corral.
  9. Well, I guess that means that a 2nd, 4th, and 6th might be able to get the deal done.
  10. Yep, Maye and the freshman RBs look like the real deal. I don't want to lose Bly's recruiting abilities but these kids just don't seem to be developing under his coaching.
  11. They had some fast receivers. Real talk though, it might be time to move Dre Bly into some type of special assistant/dedicated recruiter type role. He's brought in a ton of talented secondary recruits but as much as I loved him as a player he must be an awful position coach because the recruiting rankings never translate on the field. Our secondary looks completely terrible, per usual.
  12. Well, to be fair he did get ran down by D2 LBs. The two guys he's getting chased by in that clip rana 4.75 (#56) and a 4.67 (#41). I liked Willis as a prospect. All I said about his running was he ain't no Lamar Jackson or Michael Vick and he's not.
  13. Howell, Willis, and Corral were my top three QBs. Two outta three ain't bad I guess. Leave it to the Panthers to pick the wrong one.
  14. I'd gladly pay a few more cents per gallon not to get my teeth rattled when I drive through.
  15. I think people have used revisionist history to make Jake seem like a guy who got by on nothing more than will and moxie. That wasn't exactly accurate.
  16. This. I want everything about this season to be a raving success or abysmal failure. We desperately need clarity on our direction. "The Process" is either working or it's not. Mediocrity would be the worst case scenario IMO.
  17. It'd be awesome if he has similar success but they're not very comparable in terms of style of play.
  18. The best news for Malik Willis? He isn't coached by Jim Nagy. *Oops, I was thinking about Matt Nagy.
  19. He's been hampered by injuries and when Brady got fired his biggest supporter on the staff likely left the building.
  20. Corral was my #2 QB in this draft class. Yeah, I would've rather had Howell but I wasn't upset about picking Corral. Some picks pan out and some don't. Honestly, I'm pretty shocked by how atrocious Corral looked, but he DID look atrocious.
  21. Based on what we've seen so far and where he should be on the depth chart based on other guys simply playing better, anything close to 400 yards would be surprising. Baker is gonna have to throw for 4000+ for TMJ to have 400 yards.
  22. Don't get me wrong, I thought Corral was the 2nd best QB prospect in this draft class but early returns look like I was wrong about that.
