Robbie makes the most sense and given the run on WRs yesterday and the WR trades, he may have more trade value than I would've thought. If I was Fitts I'd consider reaching out to his agent and telling Robbie to purge his Twitter account of all the dumb poo he constantly says because we're gonna see if KC or GB has interest. Wouldn't he want to go play with an elite QB for once?

Sam Darnold has no more excuses
LinvilleGorge replied to ENCPantherfan2's topic in Carolina Panthers
I really don't think so. He just doesn't see the field like a QB. He can't read and react. He tries to consciously think and that makes him too slow. After the snap you have to be done thinking. It's all instinct and reaction at that point. I don't think that's coachable. It's like trying to coach a RB to have better vision or a DB to have better balls skills. A guy either has it or he doesn't. -
Round 2-3 predictions. Do the Panthers get a pick,?

I mean, he had to say something to hedge his bets if Rhule threw a hissy fit in the war room and pulled rank and demanded they pick Pickett. -

If Fitts gets his way, I think so. If Rhule gets his way, it'll probably be Jimmy G. -

They're gonna make a move for a QB one way or the other and I don't see how to do it without touching future picks or giving up a quality young player. -

I think they're gonna trade future picks. -

I cannot see Fittterer sitting on his hands as 131 picks go by. It's just not in his nature. -
Round 1 - The Carolina Panthers select Ikem Ekwonu

Smitty has never cared for Mayfield. I think Browns receivers have told him stories. -
Perfect prototypes have P5 offers. He ended up at NDSU (and Willis at Liberty via Auburn) for a reason. One or both may pan out but they're both projects.

I mean, the state of or QB situation is very obvious. Darnold is completely terrible and PJ couldn't make another roster. -
Oh wee mayne
-
So prototypical he didn't have a single P5 scholarship offer.
-
Both projects.
-
It was your criteria, not mine.
-
I'd put him more Tyrod Taylor category. I think he's significantly more talented than PJ but not nearly as talented as the folks who wanted him at #6 claim.
-
I'm not directly comparing the two, I'm just saying that a QB that fit the exact criteria of a guy who shouldn't be a 1st or 2nd round pick was targeted in a big trade up at #3 overall just last year. For the record, I honestly don't want Willis.
-
The Niners traded a ton to get that at #3 overall last year.
-
Five UGA defenders in round one and another former UGA defender who had to transfer because he could barely get on the field and immediately became the ACC DPOY. Wow.
-
Shocker. ANOTHER Georgia defender.
-
I figured he'd go in the 1st based on raw talent but yeah, he played at Liberty.
-
Packers: Let's hand out the highest cap hit QB contract ever and then have no WRs, let's see how that works out.
-
What Lowes are you shopping at?
-
Oh look, more Georgia defenders getting drafted.
-
Rodgers would have a fuging stroke.
