Neal impresses me as soft. What I mean by that is he's not aggressive or has a mean streak. He seems to rely on his technique and not his strength if that makes ant sense.

The plan as far as I have been able to determine was Watson and then dump Darnold. Now it appears it's between Darnold and Cam, if they can convince Cam to come back. If no Cam then Darnold wins by default. In the meantime they may or may not draft a rookie to compete with the winner of the Sam/Cam debacle. Or, or they could trade for someone to compete with the Sam/Cam winner. I think that about covers it.

They would be left with PJ Walker and two vacant roster spots at QB to fill. With meager FA pickings and word they are reportedly not taking one in the draft I just don't see a plan here. It's like Watson was the only plan they had. He was plan A thru Z. I'm going to have to stock up on popcorn.
