    We aren't going to be in position to draft a QB in round 1 unless we trade up or something. I don't think the way our team is built that a franchise QB is necessary for us to make the playoffs. We just need competence at the position and a guy who can make occasional big throws in spots. Kinda like how we won with Delhomme or the Titans with Tannehill.

    He probably wasn’t told that but giving him that contract sure implied that it. Rhule doesn’t have what it takes to win as an NFL coach. A winning NFL head coach has a combination of well above average intelligence while also being a strong leader of men. Rhule is neither of these.

    Exactly. Thus far the ceiling for Rhule on his best day has been double digit wins over bad college teams and getting pounded by any legit team. So big 10 west title seems about right.

    Losing all the Rhule trash has only improved the results on the field. What were any of the departed coaches actually contributing to the team?

    Based on what’s happened in Denver, I think Pete Carroll should be considered one of the best coaches in league history for keeping that train wreck together for so long and even winning a super bowl that should have been two.
