OFFICIAL Panthers @Packers GameDay Thread
ProcessBlue2 replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
Packers 31 / Panthers 21 We have a chance to win this, but we don’t do well on the road and it’s one of the toughest places to play. -
True but that money for Burns would be something we didn’t have now. OL, DL, Horn, Etc. We would just be complaining about those things.

Best case scenario, he retires. -

Dalton is $5,000,000 in dead cap if he’s released this offseason -
Would you be willing to trade Chuba?
ProcessBlue2 replied to Jackson113.2's topic in Carolina Panthers
There’s like 7 players I wouldn’t trade -
I’m telling you, get a higher end Veteran in Free Agency. Theres always a Darnold or Winston or somebody floating around each year. Keep Bryce without the option, and draft a guy on Day 2. Best man wins, if it fails new group can draft their guy.

Just make Mitchell Evans QB with Hubbard, Dowdle, and Etienne in the backfield and run Triple Option every play -
QB Mike White to the active roster

Panthers Sign QB White to roster; Christensen on IR
ProcessBlue2 posted a topic in Carolina Panthers
Christensen officially goes on IR. Panthers sign Mike White to roster to back up Young due to Andy Dalton’s injury. Proves my point that Hooker is horrible and is literally just here to run scout team. The Panthers would rather have had 37 year old Andy Dalton with an injured throwing thumb out there than Hooker. They also sign a guy who has been here 8 days over Hooker who has been here 9 weeks. https://x.com/panthers/status/1983912941150736654?s=46 -
Interesting note on the Dalton injury. DC wouldn’t commit to whether Bryce or Andy would be ready to go this week. One of the reporters asked if that meant Hendon Hooker would be the guy if they couldn’t go and he said that was the conversations they (coaching staff ) are having now. Would it be worth our time to just be conservative and just let some of these borderline injured guys (Mayes, Moton, Young, Zavala, Wallace) rest this week and get ready for these back to back divisional games and MNF game?

Dion Dawkins on his confrontation with A’Shawn Robinson
ProcessBlue2 replied to ProcessBlue2's topic in Carolina Panthers
Perhaps I’m just biased. I just haven’t really cared for many of his takes on social media. I consider him as annoying as Jason Kelce. -
Canales seemed pissed off in his press conference today. He referenced the leadership council multiple times. I feel like there was some type candid feedback and exchange from both sides and they pushed Canales to make changes he didn’t want to make or the FO didn’t want him to make.

We are projected to have 31,000,000 next offseason. This rolls over and makes 47,000,000. Getting rid of Robinson saves like 8,000,000 and Tremble is like another 6,000,000 (I think that’s why Mitchell Evans is here). That’s over 60,000,000 plus there is the yearly cap increase and you can always move money around on Hunt, Brown, Horn, etc. We could have 80,000,000 in cap next offseason if we wanted it.

It’s a good place to vent as well. It’s also been a good place to just share ideas and insight on things that casual fans wouldn’t get or care about. If fans are here chances are they are a pretty committed fan and/or they have followed the team a while.

Dude sounds like a complete dipshit. Basically calls Robinson scared and corny. Said Robinson wanted to fight after the game. Also said he was trying to help our Tackle with tips on being a Tackle. Which is funny considering Ekwonu and Moton are graded higher than him and he and Nijman are about the same age. https://x.com/bleacherreport/status/1983687280423530497?s=46

Bryce Young a full participant at practice today
ProcessBlue2 replied to Car123's topic in Carolina Panthers
David Newton actually makes a good point for once. Why would you let him come back as a full participant after missing all last week in the wet grass while it’s raining, knowing he has directional issues with that ankle. Unless, he never did. (I said that part not Newton) -

I just found it interesting. Low chance I know but idk why they would workout Jaren Hall with those 3 unless they were planning on getting rid of Wilson or Winston soon. -

What’s the chances this puts Dalton on “IR” and the panthers go get another back up before the deadline. They still haven’t put Christensen on IR for his Achilles and the Giants have been working out QBs despite having Dart, Winston, and Wilson on the roster. -

According to Joe Person, Moton is expected to play, but Mays is not. So looking like: LT- Ekwonu LG- Lewis C- Corbett RG- Zavala RT-Moton and then Samac (C), Curhan (G), and Nijman (T) as back ups -

You’re right. We should make another Bryce thread. -
Packers wearing new throwbacks against us this week
ProcessBlue2 replied to ProcessBlue2's topic in Carolina Panthers
New because they haven’t worn this variant in the modern era, these are from 1925. They have wore other throwback uniforms. I could say wearing throwbacks but they have multiple throwbacks from different generations.
