You got to do it. A) He doesn’t change Evero’s system. He doesn’t follow WRs, we don’t plan hardly any man coverage. B) His injury history is still shaky. You got to do it. You could replace him with a middle-of-the-road guy in Free Agency and not see much of a difference.

Morgan is also slow to announce restructures/releases. We probably won’t have a real idea on cap space until Saturday or Sunday. Hell maybe not even until Wednesday after the tampering period has already started. I think it’s completely reasonable to build a soccer field that is also set up for concerts nearby. It can hold smaller events. You still have BOA for the big stuff.

No I agree it’s odd. He sounds like he’s handpicking every word and syllable one by one.

He has always sounded that way going back to when he was a player. Difference is he sounds like he is being extremely careful in what and how he says things.

I’ve always thought he would be effective in a RB/WR role. If I’m not mistaken he was a RB in college before WR. He could be an effective version of Shenault. He needs designed plays where he gets the ball and just runs.

I think it’s clear that Canales is doing a few things here: 1) Backing off from Bryce. Less accountability if there is regression. 2) Putting Bevell in place behind Idzik so he can spend more time with Evero. The second one is important because Capers isn’t there anymore, Evero has to stand on his own and Canales has no excuse not to evaluate him. If Defense struggles, Canales has to pull the plug. And put Wash or somebody in.

Speaking of potential trades, Person said in his article today that Dalton could be a low cost trade candidate to free up some cap. Really it makes sense if you are a QB needy team and are planning on taking a guy in the 2nd or 3rd round

I thought the same thing until I realized Chubb was traded in the middle of the season during Evero’s tenure. He probably didn’t like getting put in Cover 3.

He’s going to end up back in KC most likely. If they don’t take him that tells you they were glad to have him out of the locker room.

I’d like to add a veteran. Regardless of their style, I do agree we need a guy that can break free, I’d like to see a veteran in the room that’s not David Moore.
