Josina Anderson: Panthers NOT trading Adam Thielen
ProcessBlue2 replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
Maybe it’s just me but JA is wrong a lot. It makes perfect sense for both teams tbh. -
Gotta make sure they got some more cap freed up for Hendrickson.
-
Wonder if the bengals get tangled in this somehow.
-
You have to wonder how much is this is Thielen wanting to go home for his final season. Had this opportunity not been available he probably would have been happy here this season.
-
You could literally, put them in a full body suit and not be able to tell which one is which running routes. Thielen just has better hands.
-
Well apparently Dave Canales read this and agreed with me.

Do it. Get something out of it. Either way he is probably done after this season. Maybe we can get some LB or secondary depth out of it. Renfrow is the same type of player on a less talented level. Give McMillan, Legette, and Coker the top 3. Gives you a path to also keep Renfrow, Horn, Tremayne, etc.

I think you have to live in the gray a little bit. If it’s 6 games but 6 of your losses were within 6 points, that’s different. We won 6 games in 2011 after going 2-14 and then only won 7 in 2012, but you could see significant improvement at the end of year going into 2013. If we start 4-3 and then go 2-8 the rest of the year with a ton of blowouts, Tepper is going to knock over the chessboard again.

Slow start, but figure it out as the season goes on. Floor - 6 wins Ceiling - 9 wins Can totally see us being somewhat competitive and then spending a ton of money this offseason. I do worry about Evero and Bryce. I was on the Fire Evero train and I’m hoping he just needed a better roster, but I haven’t been impressed with him since he’s been here. Bryce, I hope he hasn’t regressed back to pre-benching Bryce. I’m really burnt out on QB searching, and Dalton was gassed after 2-3 games last season.

Level Of Enthusiasm Going into Game 1
ProcessBlue2 replied to kungfoodude's topic in Carolina Panthers
I really don’t know what to expect. Last year I thought the season opener would be close but it went horrible. Really our defense should be around 20th-25th rather than dead last. Our offense is the same other than a few positive additions. On paper, we should be slightly better. I just hope nobody regressed *cough* Bryce *cough* -
Post- Training Camp 53-Man Roster Projection

Renfrow would become the new Thielen. No, not because he’s white, but because they play so similarly. Superb route runners. -

Thielen and a 4th for Ivan Pace Jr? could be a nice final season for AT to return home. We get a 24 year old LB on a rookie deal. -
REPORT: Panthers interested in Patriots starting safety
ProcessBlue2 replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
No I’m not missing it, I understand that. What I’m saying is they are so needy now, that I think they will part with him for immediate assistance. Zac Taylor already has a reputation for starting slow which is the reason they missed the playoffs last year. Yeah they can just do nothing and he can just sit out, but they are out of money and need help now, so consider us JG Wentworth. -

I know it’s not popular. But I don’t think Jimmy Horn makes it. Was reading on Twitter earlier about how his reps in practice and games have dropped off significantly. Tremayne will be the bubble guy. I literally agree with everything else. -
REPORT: Panthers interested in Patriots starting safety

They are either going to pay him or trade him. They are not going to get their asking price, teams rarely do. They need a lot of help on OL and Defense. That help is better than not getting anything for Hendrickson and having it as a distraction. I highly doubt they trade him anywhere in the conference, especially within the division. Right now, Carolina is 2nd in betting odds right behind him staying in Cincinnati. -

I think after the Bengals OL imploded tonight, we are going to get Hendrickson on a deal for Zavala, Mays, or Christensen and a couple of non 1st round picks. Duggar will be waived and nobody will pick it up so he can be had at a discount. -
The Panthers have an effort problem
ProcessBlue2 replied to raleigh-panther's topic in Carolina Panthers
I think it’s going to take a while to change the culture. Fox did it, Rivera carried it on but there has been a huge lack of effort since Rhule. There needs to be turnover at multiple levels, not just the roster to change that.
