Oh boy I hope they like screens and 5 yard slants.

Way to early prediction: 9-8 better roster but harder schedule. Saints have easier schedule and win division at 10 or 11 wins. Win: VS New Orleans @ Atlanta VS Tampa @ Cleveland @ Minnesota VS Chicago VS Cincinnati VS Detroit VS Baltimore Lose: @New Orleans VS Atlanta @ Tampa @ Green Bay @ Philly @ Pittsburgh VS Seattle VS Denver It’s been a while since we beat some of these teams, so I could see us getting lucky like we did in Green Bay maybe in Pittsburgh or Philly. Chicago will be interesting, I’m not scared of Baltimore, Minnesota, Cincinnati, Cleveland, etc.

David Newton's Panthers Free Agency Preview Dancy Party
ProcessBlue2 replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
Robinson has a 12m value. Give him 10 up front as a bonus. Pay him 2 million in salary and then break up the bonus into 2.5m for the next few for void years. Basically get him for 4.5 this season to fill a spot if there isn’t a decent one in the draft, also better FA pool next year. If you get a better one in the draft you have a tremendously better Yosh Nijman to back up the Rookie and Moton this year. -
Now we must try to get Cooley a DC role. Need that 3rd round pick

David Newton's Panthers Free Agency Preview Dancy Party

I think Cam Robinson will be available in free agency. Option rental at LT -
Also the chance that Arizona snags Kubiak or he just decides to stay. Really, that would be the best chance for Evero because I think they are zeroed in on Kubiak
-
I really wish Flacco would retire and Dalton could just sit on Cincinnati’s bench behind Burrow a couple of years and remember the old times while we find a legit back up.

2024 draft was also going a lot off of Fitterers planning and guidance during the 2023 season. Hard to change scouting strategy in February. Dan had all of 2024 to get ready for 2025 draft which I think was much better. -
Evero played for the Raiders for his 1 year as a player. He’s also a west coast guy and a lot of people from his time in Denver are there now. Plus, his Pass Defense has always been stronger than his Pass Rush and Run D. Not bad to have in a division with Sean Payton, Justin Herbert, and Pat Mahomes. My guess is Kubiak is 1st but Evero and an OC he named and they really like is 2nd. I wonder who that is, wonder if that could be Thomas Brown who is the Pass Coordinator in NE now.

I think McDermott takes the year off.

Depends what side of his call you’re on. We NEVER were with him

Is strange all the big name refs retired in like a 2-3 year span and then it got significantly more obvious. Ed Hochuli Gene Steratore Jeff Triplett Terry McAuley Walt Anderson Walt Coleman Tony Corrente Jerome Boger Pete Morelli all left within the same 3-4 years.

Rozeboom and Chanel: Our ILB free agent wish list?
ProcessBlue2 replied to MHS831's topic in Carolina Panthers
Another reason I like Elliss is that he will likely be cheaper than Chanel. I would sign him, draft a guy like Styles or Allen in the 1st round. Go after a 2nd round tackle, sign a rental like Cam Robinson at LT, and then avoid Hendrickson but maybe go after a guy like Mafe or Oweh at edge. That upgrades defense significantly without breaking the bank. Then can use what is leftover for other things like C. -
I pay such little attention to the Pro Bowl, I didn’t realize they still split it by conference. After like 10 years ago and it was Team Celebrity 1 vs Team Celebrity 2 I quit watching it

Kaden Elliss fixes our LB problem and keeps him out of Atlanta -
Diego Pavia measures 5'9" at the Senior Bowl
ProcessBlue2 replied to rebelrouser's topic in Carolina Panthers
Even Canales said in a press conference that Bryce is like 185-190 when he was asked about QB sneaks. My guess has always been he is 5ft9 maybe 5ft9.5 and 190. Maybe they will sign Pavia to make Bryce feel better about his height. Morgan mentioned developing a guy -
I don’t think I’ve watched the Super Bowl all the way through in a few years. It feels less like a football game and more like a parade with some football sprinkled in. All the celebrities, acts, performances, 100 commercials, etc.

There were like 12 other options including our midget.

Geno Smith unfollowed raiders on social media
ProcessBlue2 replied to electro's horse's topic in Carolina Panthers
I actually have confidence that having Brady in the building will slowly fix them. I think when he gets tired of broadcasting (which probably won’t be long) he will be heavily invested in the organizations day to day. -
Sam made his turnaround here when we started running the ball and letting him use the Play Action at the end of the 2022 season. I think spending time with Shannahan and O’Connell helped him dial that in.

Geno Smith unfollowed raiders on social media
ProcessBlue2 replied to electro's horse's topic in Carolina Panthers
There is a huge deficit on teams needing QBs vs starting caliber QBs available in the draft/FA. I think he could get a shot somewhere desperate like NYJ or Cleveland -

I could see him coming in to the the back-up but with how QB needy so many teams are this year, he will probably get a job elsewhere for the #1 spot. Dan also gave the impression during his press conference that he’s going to be looking for a younger QB -
This picture was posted by the NFL back in September and shows Darnold and Maye at the front closest to the Lombardi trophy. I personally don’t believe in the “script” theory. I do believe that the NFL will influence specific games to get a more entertaining outcome at times. However, this is gaining some steam online and even got a response from NFL PR.
