omg that is insane. Honestly the QB $$ is going to bust at some point when you have just one player taking up such a high percentage of the cap. There isn't a max contract like in the NBA b/c the NFL is stupid and always behind the times it seems. That's what happens when like everyone is conservative in the business. They wake up and are like durr an issue where dat came from we haven't changed but one thing in decades here(talking about the money side of things not the rules changing willy nilly every year that's the opposite of the conservative problem) NFL needs a max contract that could raise slowly like the salary cap.

Cam and Luck are HoFers if they don't get so badly injured and ruined by their organization so yea i'd still be drafting both of them and also a first round QB in any draft where I need a QB. Cam might still be a HoFer if we didn't have poo Shula in our SB and won it. Luke will be for example on a short career b/c he was the best MLB during his time period and the media is surprisingly on his side and he'll get in.

Our S play has been so poo that a poo S looks good to a lot of these people holy poo he can't tackle in the slightest. He got just standing there while the ball came to him picks, not many Ed Reed picks and poo. Look at doods highlights the ball just comes to him on his picks and if he had to actually make a play he dropped that poo. Look at most of these picks...."his coverage skills" More actual hits on here than I thought he ever had though so that's sweet.

Did you see that one YT video that showed how it could be argued that Benjamin is the reason Cam got his what will be career ending shoulder injury in the first place? KB didn't try to get the ball that was the pick and then he didn't tackle the guy at all and that's the play that Cam dove for trying to tackle the guy. The 10:28 mark

Yea this forum used to have a lot more people with a sense of humor. You'd think so being a team with a losing record, it's actually funny given that so many people take themselves and this team even more seriously than actual good teams. When I was still in the AirForce one of our good friends in service was from Boston and we watched the SB together when his Patriots beat us even. That's why I didn't put "I hope Tepper isn't one of those aggressively stupid people" which should be everyone's initial thought. He seems to be aggressive but not going to get duped or do anything overly stupid at least at this point he hasn't. Which is the way to be. He probably has parameters set out for them. I am not a hedge fund manager billionaire but he seems like he would operate similar to that type where he doesn't micro manage but still has the upper/lower limits set.

Well, everyone except the women. But you need a partner to tango so its about Houston even more so than Tepper as if they don't offer him up in the trade it can't happen. In terms of a trade up there are several teams with more to offer. Seems to me that his take is more about the field rather than the Panthers. We tried to get Stafford and are trying to get Watson so this is great news anyway that we do have that type of owner. IMO we will have a new QB next year but that doesn't necessarily mean starter as we could still draft someone in 2/3rd round. As a Clemson fan I want Watson so I'm barely even posting about it.

One thing that is being alluded to or tangentially related on some of the discussions is Tepper being "that way". He even did it with Hurney when he was complimenting him then was like "well not great" and poo like that. Tepper seems like the kind of owner who could end up on 'when keeping it real goes wrong'. He just sort of willy nilly says things like that which even if true or is his real thoughts as a leader of the team it may be best to keep those things out of the media. It's funny but doesn't help the situation honestly.
