  1. Any help with a stream I can get into? Bally's login server poo the bed this afternoon and still isn't up.
  2. He always shuffles and, according to today's update, he'll play Svech as much or as little as necessary, depending on his game feel. BY9, the projected lines are simply identifying the dressed players, healthy scratches and injuries.
  3. As I suspected: Tonight's Projected Lineup... Forwards Teravainen - Aho - Jarvis Bunting - Kotkaniemi - Necas Martinook - Staal - Fast Svechnikov - Drury - Noesen Defense Slavin - Burns Skjei - DeAngelo Orlov - Chatfield Goaltenders Andersen
  4. I think he's okay with the guys in the locker room. It's John Tortorella he had issues with. Torts healthy scratched him the last several games of last season. And, just throwing this out there..... just because Bryce Young was the QB when the Panthers finally won a game does not suddenly make him a better QB than Stroud or anyone else, for that matter. Last time I checked Stroud is still the front runner for ROY. But, hey, at least the 473 Panther fans in attendance yesterday got to see a win.
  5. Sorry, Orlov is a leftie. I listed Burns twice...lol.
  6. Who's playing off? Chatty, Burns and TDA are all righties; Slavin, Burns and Skjei are lefties. Keep in mind Orlov was drafted and spent a lot of time playing his off side, and Chatty played almost his entire first season as a lefties on his off side.
  7. 12-6 tonite with Philly. Slavin - Burns TDA - Skjei Orlov - Chatty The TDA - Skjei NY Ranger reunion tour continues. Orlov gets a goal tonight.
  8. "This place is awful. You have been warned."
  9. When you have more faith in a RB getting 19 than your QB throwing 19.
  10. He was the last 2 years. To a fault. Can't tell you how many times I yelled at the TV or in the arena, "Shoot the fu***** puck!" But if he's playing on a line with Aho, he's got to shoot more knowing the D is going to focus on Aho. I'm glad he is....
  11. Leads me to believe it's not a soft tissue, muscle, tendon or ligament issue. Perhaps a bone shave or spur.
  12. I held my breath when he came flying out of the box and had to hit the brakes when their goalie went after the puck. Svech had 3:43 TOI in the first. Sure seemed like he was out there longer than that. Orlov getting more comfortable with each game. I'll be the first to admit I was okay with trading TT because he just looked reluctant to shoot the damn puck the last 2 seasons. Glad he's shooting. With his line, only good things happen when Turbo shoots.
  13. He might go on #4, keep his minutes down for a few games.
  14. Shots from the point with zero net front- Stevie Wonder could play goalie against the Canes.
  15. TDA and Skjei paired is a NY Ranger reunion where they played together on the blue line.
  16. Chatty is playing exceptionally well.
  17. Orlov is getting shifts on his off side
  18. Very nice pass. Tripp is right- Canes are backing off the blue line too easy. So used to seeing the Canes standing up everything at the blue line.
  19. If it were a hoops play, he would have broke ankles. Was a pretty nifty move from Bjork.
  20. Puck was rolling and he never had a good handle.
  21. Gotta go high blocker on this guy.
  22. So far, so good. I'm watching and they look much better. Back checks, covering passing lanes and some grit.
  23. So, aside from the Canes losing- how did they skate? Scoring chances? Defensive improvement? I saw the stat line the Canes had about 10 more SOG than Tampa, but they scored 3 on 20-some shots? PP and PK?
  24. How the fug does d-bag Chris Berman still have a job on ESPN?
  25. A little tough to call the season when 95% of the schedule is still ahead. We can look at this early hiccup as has already been posted- 12/6 vs. 11/7, blue line not in sync, goalies atrocious, etc. This is the definitive stat that, by itself, encompasses every issue the Canes are sorting through right now: 165 shots allowed thru 6 games. That is 10 more than the league average right now and is 12th highest in the league. Compare this to last year when the Canes allowed 26 shots per game and finished the season a full 400 shots better than the league average. Couple that with the league's worst save percentage (by a lot) at .818, and you need look no further to see what the issues are here.
