Some reason it took a couple minutes for my ESPN+ to kick in and I missed the goal. ESPNannouncer usually does football horrible at hockey. -
Not a thing I can find. I'm sure Tripp will have something to say tonight.

This is only important to note for the Tampa Bay team who somehow manages to stack up a $100M+ salary team every year around playoff time. https://www.tsn.ca/nhl-salary-cap-2022-23-season-gary-bettman-1.1733078

Haven't seen anything yet. He was flexing his left knee when he was helped into the locker room. Couple things going on- he was holding his ribs and his left knee was also an issue. I don't know what Ellers history is, but that should warrant a couple games.

April: 7 home games, 7 road games. Home: Minnesota, Buffalo, NY Islanders, Anaheim, Detroit, Winnipeg, NJ Devils Road: Buffalo, NY Rangers, Colorado, Arizona, NJ Devils, NY Islanders, NY Rangers I'd look at this schedule and say they should win every home game in the last month of the season, 14 points. I'd look at the road schedule and say 8 points, maybe 10 if they split with the Rangers. A 20-point month is not out of the question. Until the totally unnecessary and cheap shot on Jesperi last night, the team is getting healthier by the day and it's a good thing to have a couple healthy scratches when you know the whole team is playing well. I think Lorentz is going to step into KK's spot for the time being.

Malicious cheap shot by a scumbag team who resorts to thuggery when getting their asses kicked.

My wife has evolved into a huuuuge 88 fan.

Aho's shorty... everyone in the building thought he was going behind the net. Pesce becoming an offensive D-man lately. And before I forget- fug Tom Wilson. He shouldn't even be in the league. And fug Putin #8.

Retail, it's a $40 bottle, but I get it pretty discounted and while I wouldn't buy a case of it, I would like to keep a couple bottles in my "collection." If you're going to grill steaks for a couple appreciative friends who enjoy wine, you'll impress with this one. It's as good as any bottle I've had at twice the price. Keep your eyes open at the grocery store, like Harris Teeter, and if you see it priced at $35 or so, grab one.

Been out of touch for a couple days, get home, tune in and I missed the first 15 minutes and 2 goals. I'm hoping for 2 points between tonight and tomorrow. Gotta find a way to get past Washington- they own the Canes this season. A little surprised the Canes are favored on the road tonight. Anyone here have season tickets? We're looking at an 11-game package for next season...

Good to see Jesperi take care of business. Should not have been 10 minutes, follow-thru to Stepan's head into the glass. -
The wine dinner last night featured Orin Swift wines by Dave Phinney. Orin Swift is owned by the Gallo Family portfolio. The Slander Pinot was good. The D66 Others is a French red blend (yes, Phinney also owns a winery in France). France is divided into 90 geographical "Departments," this particular winery being in Department 66, hence D66. 8 Years in the Desert was very a good California Zinfandel. So named because Dave Phinney agreed not to make or sell any Zin for 8 years after he sold his last brand some of you may recognize- The Prisoner. So, after making Prisoner for 8 years, he had to spend another 8 years in wine purgatory before making another Zin, and this is it.

Have to attend a wine dinner tonight, so I'll probably miss the first 2 periods. Domi starting on the 4th line with Jesperi and Stepan. Forwards: Teravainen - Aho - Jarvis Svechnikov - Trocheck - Necas Niederreiter - Staal - Fast Domi - Kotkaniemi - Stepan Defensemen: Slavin - DeAngelo Skjei - Pesce Cole - Bear Starting Goalie: Andersen Injuries: Jordan Martinook Scratches: Steven Lorentz Brendan Smith Last Time Out: The Canes scored twice on the power play Tuesday night, paving the way to a 3-2 victory over the Tampa Bay Lightning at PNC Arena. Martin Necas, Tony DeAngelo and Sebastian Aho were the goal scoreres for Carolina while Frederik Andersen earned his 31st win of the year in net. Domi Day: Forward Max Domi is expected to make his Canes debut tonight after being acquired from Columbus on Monday. Wearing #13 this evening, he posted 32 points in 53 games with the Blue Jackets before the deal. His first goal with the Canes will be the 100th of his NHL career. Hey, We're On ESPN!: Tonight's telecast can be found on the ESPN, featuring a commentary team of Bob Wischusen and Brian Boucher. Mike Maniscalco, Tripp Tracy and Alec Campbell will handle the radio duties on 99.9 The Fan. Two For Two-Four: Seth Jarvis had two assists in the team's win over Tampa on Tuesday, the second time in the last three games he has posted multi-point games. Now up to 24 points in 49 games, Jarvis ranks sixth in scoring among players selected in the 2020 draft. Enjoying The Home Cooking: Carolina's victory over Tampa was their 24th win at PNC Arena this year, the third-most home wins by any NHL club. Now 13-1-2 in their last 16 games in Raleigh, the Canes have just eight home games remaining after tonight. A Look At The Other Side: Dallas trailed 3-2 with six minutes to go in regulation Tuesday night. Two goals in 24 seconds later, they were in the driver's seat in what would become a 5-3 comeback win. They are 6-4 in their last ten games but have not had as much success on the road as they've had at home this year, currently touting a 14-16-2 record when away from the American Airlines Arena. Veteran Joe Pavelski has been the guiding force for the offense, producing over a point-per-game thus far this season, totaling 64 points in 62 outings. -
Going to an Orin Swift wine dinner tomorrow night. Not familiar, but I'm told it's a big, bold California wine. Looking forward to it.

Seriously, if Rhule is there, the Panthers are screwed.

He made that glove save on Palat from point blank range, but was also fortunate a couple didn't bounce the other way off the cross bar and posts, otherwise it's a 4-3 loss.
