Hornets not pursuing any more centers
rippadonn replied to Captain Morgan's topic in Charlotte Hornets
We got killed in the playoffs when we couldn't run and gun. To grow up and win playoff basketball we'll need to get the ball into the post even if that guy passes it back. They were woefully schooled and embarrassed when they couldn't run and hit shots, that's now the blueprint. Dwight to the Lakers again shows us how important half court basketball is. Your team can make it to the playoffs running but we must be able to play in the paint and have a way to score in the paint or we won't get far. Carey looked very promising. I'll be watching him closely because to make it any further than we did last season we'll need Vernon to step up big time. -

My bad. I've offended your perfect world. Yes, 230. That was to protect forum speech SPECIFICALLY. You look MORE ignorant for being a total ass trying to make a weak point. Mine is better: Behave yourself, stop being b**ch assed. Let the man/woman speak. -

It means you can't get arrested for what you say in a public forum as long as it's not threatening speech. Why don't you want to extend the same courtesy in any forum based in the USA? Unless it's not. Some homers on this are worse than that guy. At least he posts and gives an opinion, mostly without bashing anybody. Others of us on the site are having a decent conversation with that person. When you are attacked you SHOULD defend yourself within reason. Pissing you knuckleheads off should not be a ban able offense in America. Unless we're not America -

First Amendment. I think Americans need to stop being being b**ch assed and calling for mods to ban a guy for what exactly?! Stop this cancel culture bull! -
He's got that stride in the open field that gave Moose his nickname. You could never wrap up both legs.

When the obvious choice is constantly rebuked in favor of your better idea that doesn't work and is wildly unpopular, yeah.... -
Lol, I've laughed at my neighbor in the same situation. Blanket and all. I walked past the room and I asked him "what is this!?"

I really hope so, but that would be logical. With these guys gamesmanship defies logic. -
Talk to me how you are feeling about the Hornets now.

He gone. Best of luck to him. I was hoping Uptown Monk would pan out. -

I'd like them to get a scoring low post, half court center instead of all these gazelles but the style of play with LaMelo and the scoring threats from 1-4 may cover up the need for a dominant 5, but when the playoffs come the half court game IS the game. Carey looked good last season so hope is alive. Plumlee?! Not sure. I agree I'd feel better they could retain Biz at least. -

Somehow I think they'll keep one of those. Side note: Keep your head up. The huddle can be a tough crowd. -
Nah, it's the very few ruining things for everyone else in the world that pisses me off. One small group shouldn't be allowed to totally ruin football, medicine, businesses.... I digress
-
They're diminishing the product. Changing what we love. Oh well, Go Hornets!
-
LET ZOD TAKE PICS! This media monopoly attempt further separates the team from the fans. It doesn't just belong to you Tepp!

Mitch said something, something that changed my perception of LaMelo and Hornets players in general. He said players like living in Charlotte so most of them are at the facility Monday thru Friday+ in the off-season. Charlotte has become a lifestyle choice for the up and coming. THAT hasn't been the case in prior years. Players would be gone in the off-season. This change says a lot to the growth and entertainment value the city has built in and around itself and that in the future becomes a competitive advantage we'd lacked in the past. So will Melo sign two more contracts with the Hornets? I'd say it's more likely now than ever. -
Oooooooo. Is that the new designer V? Gotta get that one too!!!

What's the worst case scenario with Sam Darnold this year?
rippadonn replied to 1of10Charnatives's topic in Carolina Panthers
Aside from that, he has to stay healthy. If he doesn't, we don't have Fields and we're f'd. Tankathon. -

What I like about Sam: Much more mobile and a big run threat at QB. He can get yards on his own on the ground, he's fast, shifty fast and he's good at it. Gunslinger mentality like Farve, Jake Delhomme. It's all or nothing baby. He's more Farve than Jake with his arm strength though. 6'3", Good height for a QB, solid build. Best case: Brett Farvre Worst case: Jake Delhomme Thus, I don't see him being this teams downfall. -
Watch that video. I saw many of his best work ended with him hitting the ground. We remember that they had to tell Gerald Wallace to stop hitting the floor so much both before AND after the collarbone. He plays all out when he drives. Fearless among the trees and whatnot. He'll have to be more careful to last a whole NBA season. He said he's competing for ROY. Fearless.
