  1. No not at all. Drew Brees style of play changed from an athletic scrambler who was accurate to the all time most accurate pocket passers of all time. Baker doesn't belong in that conversation with Brees. I know you love, love, love you some Baker,Baker,Baker but this coach under him I don't think any sustainable success is possible.
  2. They forget Chargers Brees used to run the ball more, Saints Brees became a pocket assassin.
  3. Good to see you posting around these parts again friend. Welcome.
  4. I love McAdoo but he doesn't get final say. McAdoo is actually qualified to be our HC.
  5. How come the others couldn't. Yes it's an example. When he had time to throw and wasn't running for his life he put the ball in or near guys hands, only observed 2-3 maybe that got away from him to were just misses other than that when he threw it was crisp and accurate. We didn't see enough reps with other players of NFL caliber to say anything....If you think we have...that's all I need to know.
  6. He has to be more accurate to be in the same conversation as Brees. We can throw around stats but Drew Brees and Tom Brady's most impressive stat that made them great was accuracy.
  7. Do you believe in Matt Rhule? Do you think he's capable of running a pro football team? I think what's getting lost in the Baker,Baker,Baker argument is that many of us don't think he can or will and that any talent will be wasted by bad decision making. I don't know if Baker will ever turn his career around, I just don't think it will be with a Matt Rhule run football team.
  8. Drew had more trade interest than Baker who had just one taker.
  9. Ok, thanks I didn't iirc. So we have the offense and Coach to make Baker Mayfield into Drew Brees? So now Baker Mayfield is Drew Brees? Sorry, I've got to see it first before I can believe that. As of now. No way.
  10. So you are saying is that Matt Rhule is the coach to improve Baker to a Brees level QB? Rhule the QB Whisperer has already whiffed on Teddy/Sam/Cam/Sam/Corrals development, what makes you think this is a better offense that Cleveland? So you expect turf to improve Bakers game to a career 65%+ passer? That's Tom Brady and Drew Brees level. All of a sudden after four years in the NFL Baker is going to improve. What is here to help his improvement? Again, he couldn't improve Teddy/Sam/Cam/Sam/PJ/Corral why is Baker any different or better? Spoiler alert guys: don't drink the Kool Aid
  11. Brees was a Charger for two years if I remember correctly. Baker was a four year Brown. They had plenty of time to see if he was the next Brees or not. Spoiler alert: ...
  12. So bashing Corral as just the third rounder is as silly as it really sounds.
  13. Malik was projected to go in the first and he didn't so he doesn't matter.
  14. He's nowhere near Brees level. Why are you so happy about leftovers?
  15. Drew Brees level is always running at close to 70% completion percentage. Please stop. He's way behind if he'd ever catch up to Brees. Baker has NEVER had a NFL career 67%+ average. Brees is other level. The SEC isn't the NFL but maybe the next hardest but Matt Corral out up 72% and 69% completion percentage the last two seasons. That was the closest you were going to get to Brees like accuracy in this locker room., but that guy didn't matter.
  16. It's like a NASCAR team constantly replacing their engines with used motors from last Gen cars.
  17. If Cam Newton didn't want to come back to this "situation" when the door was publicly open for him to do so shouldn't that say something? He wouldn't even do it again for the money. Why? Ever asked yourself why? Maybe you already know why and you choose to wear the blue sunglasses and ignore it. Maybe this "situation" isn't good for Baker either. Ever thought of that? The "situation" was terrible for Teddy/Sam/Cam/Corral and the situation hasn't changed, it's still doing damage. Needless to say, until the "situation" isn't in charge I can't see any changes happen physically or energetically. The "situations" plan is already crumbling piece by piece because of the weak foundation upon which it stands.
  18. The hit job continues. Corral is the most accurate QB in the room. Example, fade drill. Nobody hit it until Corral swished it twice and almost hit it a couple more times, very close. I watched Sam/Baker/PJ not as close as Corral. Baker hit it once a day or two later. No Corral didn't look good first game the line in front of him was atrocious. If you couldn't see him and PJ getting crunched up between good plays you weren't watching the third string line. I don't see how a third string lineman being put on skates into his feet is his fault or is a display of anything but Matt Rhules continued foolishness. People act as if there was a real opportunity to see Corral play. Sam/Baker/PJ had more reps. Nobody has said he's gotten more reps than any of those guys. The curse of Gretzky continues for this young man. The draft was f'd up, Pickett jumped better players but now even after the draft he got into the absolute worst situation to play, just the opposite, Rhule on cue choked out his once bright career trajectory into nothing because he's not his love Kenny Pickett so he didn't matter. Why not showcase him? Even a little? We barely saw the guy, on purpose, that was never the plan. It was another teams QB, again. Why couldn't we see him behind the second team or first team line? He didn't want you to. You wouldn't want Baker, Baker, Baker after that.
  19. Also since last night, as always Matt Rhules plan is already falling apart and they refuse to notice.
  20. So these injuries automatically give Rhule an excuse? He'll be clawing for anything or anybody to place blame on, based off of past experiences.
