  1. There is zero accountability on this forum, he'll act like he never said anything
  2. Ridder is way scarier than Malik. Was hoping the Falcons would take Malik, easy two wins a year
  3. Last year a 1st round LB fell and had a great rookie year. Same thing is happening this year. Too bad we wasted the pick on Darnold.
  4. The Panthers are trying to drive down the value or just swap Darnold for Mayfield. Mayfield is better than Darnold, but not worth a pick before the 6th round better
  5. Sam Howell looks chunky, did he put on a lot of weight?
  6. Josh Allen was a huge, prototypical QB with a big arm and good touch that struggled with accuracy but threw receivers open, had a quick release, and kept eyes downfield as he was scrambling in the pocket. Malik is a short QB with poor touch that doesn't throw people open and tends to just take off when there is pressure. There is a huge difference between the two
  7. That would be Corral, he and Ridder are the only acceptable gambles in the 4th
  8. Tom Brady made big time throws and some big time comeback wins at Michigan, one of the powerhouse schools at the time. Malik struggled to make easy throws with something called the "Liberty Flames" Oh and Brady is four inches taller
  9. Aaron Rodgers...Lamar Jackson...Mac Jones... Russell Wilson...what did they have in common? They made big time throws at big time colleges and had great, heisman worthy seasons. "Bu bu bu.....Josh Allen and Flacco small schools!" They were physically imposing QBs coming out of college with big time arm talent. Now, Malik..... .....
  10. Brady played at Michigan and made some big time throws and comebacks even though he was a backup. Malik struggled at Liberty. Liberty! And is undersized and wildly inaccurate on short and intermediate throws. Like what are you guys expecting here?
  11. The teams that need a QB can wait til next year when the QB prospects are ten times higher
  12. Walter is an idiot, but Charlie who he employs is more knowledgeable on our inner workings than any of the beat writers right now. Honestly Charlie needs to be hired by one of the bigger guys
  13. I don't take them as gospel but when a guy repeatedly gets Panthers draft plans correct and says during the draft "the Panthers passed on Slater because of his arms and didn't think he was a tackle" and then a year later Rhule says the same thing verbatim, you have to listen to what he has to say
  14. Um. The guy who reported this story! That is what we are arguing about! lol. He had the first 10 picks correct until trades happened. Also said last year we were locked in on Horn a month before the draft when our "knowledgeable local beat writers" had no earthly idea and were shocked
  15. Alexander was also wildly wildly off on his mock draft the day before the draft, so who knows how much he really knows. Panthers also probably doing damage control in denying it
  16. To be fair, they went after much better guys and even agreed to trades for Stafford and Watson and got turned down. Aside from Fields/Jones, who I agree with passing up, who could they have gone for that was available and would play here? Only one I can think of is Minshew, but its another big gamble.
  17. Charlie did call the first 10 picks correctly, the last 5 Panthers #1 picks correctly, and said that Ickey was #1 on our board...he clearly has in's with the team
  18. Well its from Campbell so we know its legit. I would have done it for Linderbaum. Our offensive line would have gone from worst to first with Icky-Bozeman-Linderbaum-Corbett-Moton and then you just have to hope Hoskins and Roy continue to develop. But outside of the top 13 players and Linderbaum, I would hold on to Brown
  19. Depends on the QB. Subtract Aaron Rodgers and Sam Darnold, and I think we are head and shoulders above the Packers roster wise, and they finished #1 in the NFC last year. But until we get that QB, it doesn't really matter. I'm not a Rhule apologist, but comeon, he's had Teddy Bridgewater, Sam Darnold, PJ Walker and Cam Newton, none of which are top 25 quarterbacks in a 32 team league
  20. I think its moreso that Rhule wants a chance with a good QB, not the pu-pu platter he has had to deal with the last two seasons
  21. Even if he moves to LG, we still need that and its a hugely important position, particularly with his elite run blocking skills for Christian McCaffrey. He is a hard worker though and improved every year and I think he will be great at LT
  22. I can almost guarantee that one or more of the Corral/Ridder/Howell/Strong grouping will be there in the 4th. Only three teams are looking for a developmental QB in that range and we’re one of them. My guess is Seattle goes Malik in the 2nd and Detroit takes Ridder or Corral in the third (if they have a pick left from that trade). I think Tampa and the Giants are happy with their QB room and the Saints can’t afford to take one with their holes and money already spent. Atlanta is a possibility but they have way too many holes and like Mariota
