  1. I would rather him play also but he's going to get killed until he learns to slide and gets in the weight room.
  2. I've always thought the 7th round should be for players that inexplicatly fell. For instance, JoJo Domann's only knock is he is slow but he is great otherwise, why not take him as a special teams ace. No reason he should be undrafted
  3. Hoping for Bo for the return game or the center West since Bozeman is only signed for a year
  4. Regardless if he doesn't pan out...I'm so glad the Panthers took a chance on a star-upside guy than Pickett, Mayfield, Darnold, Bridgewater, etc.
  5. Now to just hire that witchdoctor to implant Luke's brain into Brandon's body.....
  6. You missed one thing on this chart I don't care what you're stats are, if you panic in the pocket, you will fail. NFL teams should make this the #1 priority when evaluating QBs
  7. We need a DE, a G, and a ILB IMO Please no long snappers
  8. That throw at 1:15 is poo Mahomes does He needs to work on read progression but his arm talent is undeniable
  9. In interviews from previous drafts he liked guys who are mobile, big arm, can throw off the run and out of the pocket. Corral checks all those boxes. He's the best QB in the draft in throwing while running and out of the pocket, and has a smooth, very quick release like a baseball outfielder. He still has a lot of work to do with read progression and bulking up, his size isn't ideal. But in a very below standard QB class, Corral is easily the most talented. If he doesn't show anything, we are only out a 3rd and will trade up/draft one of the top 3 next year.
  10. Willis isn't particularly fast. He's elusive and quick at breaking tackles, but he doesn't have top end speed. We don't know for sure becuase Willis wouldn't run the 40. But Simms is adamant that Corral is faster than Willis. I think the floor for Corral is Trubisky, and he has the skills to be a lot better that Mitch if he puts it together. Is that ideal for us? Maybe not but its the best we can do in the 3rd round and he has the highest upside of any QB in the draft. If he fails or doesn't show anything... well we are likely taking one of the top 3 QB's next year and making the godfather trade offer up to a top 3 pick if we aren't picking top 3
  11. I mean just watch the convenient youtube video that is right above you He's quick, good athlete, strong arm, looks downfield instead of just taking off and running, and accurate. He's got injury and off field concerns and isn't as tall as you would like (but still bigger than Willis, and faster too)
  12. Person with another L Do these guys just guess?
  13. This is a McAdoo pick also, its exactly what he looks for in a QB
  14. Best QB in the draft and we got him in the 3rd round He's the anti-Darnold. He has big balls, moxie, and doesn't get rattled in the pocket. Great release and big arm. Needs work and injury history but who knows, maybe he develops fast He's still tiers below next year's top 3, but it's worth the gamble for a future 3rd rounder. He has a ton of talent, its just if he puts it together. Unlike Clausen or Grier who were what they were the moment we drafted him
  15. Best QB in the draft and we got him in the 3rd round He's the anti-Darnold. He has big balls, moxie, and doesn't get rattled in the pocket. Great release and big arm. Needs work but who knows, maybe he develops fast
  16. There is zero accountability on this forum, he'll act like he never said anything
  17. Ridder is way scarier than Malik. Was hoping the Falcons would take Malik, easy two wins a year
  18. Last year a 1st round LB fell and had a great rookie year. Same thing is happening this year. Too bad we wasted the pick on Darnold.
  19. The Panthers are trying to drive down the value or just swap Darnold for Mayfield. Mayfield is better than Darnold, but not worth a pick before the 6th round better
  20. Sam Howell looks chunky, did he put on a lot of weight?
  21. Josh Allen was a huge, prototypical QB with a big arm and good touch that struggled with accuracy but threw receivers open, had a quick release, and kept eyes downfield as he was scrambling in the pocket. Malik is a short QB with poor touch that doesn't throw people open and tends to just take off when there is pressure. There is a huge difference between the two
  22. That would be Corral, he and Ridder are the only acceptable gambles in the 4th
  23. Tom Brady made big time throws and some big time comeback wins at Michigan, one of the powerhouse schools at the time. Malik struggled to make easy throws with something called the "Liberty Flames" Oh and Brady is four inches taller
  24. Aaron Rodgers...Lamar Jackson...Mac Jones... Russell Wilson...what did they have in common? They made big time throws at big time colleges and had great, heisman worthy seasons. "Bu bu bu.....Josh Allen and Flacco small schools!" They were physically imposing QBs coming out of college with big time arm talent. Now, Malik..... .....
