Edey is doing whatever he wants. Dude doesn't play defense and really doesn't try to rebound much, but he scores at will.

How can you blow such an easy dunk?

I'm surprised the refs called two over and backs within minutes of each other.

State needs to find their magic. Purdue is doing just about everything they want.

A no nonsense coach is needed. I'd be fine with Staley as coach if she wants the job. Ball has too many issues for Charlotte including not playing games. In the article Fowler points out that Hayward played more than Ball the last two seasons.

Almost time for big man basketball

This DJ Burns hype segment on the pregame show is the sort of thing to make certain UNC fans cry.

True. The only exception might be the NBA. Those refs are notorious for playing favorites and giving "superstar" calls.

People love an underdog, especially when they're likeable, which State is. I'm ok with them drawing ratings and getting a friendly whistle. It's not like State has gotten a lot of that over the last 40 odd years.

Slightly corrected. DB is like the only homegrown star player the team has at this point. -
For football scouts, DJ Burns is a huge "What if?"

True, but the NFL would probably consider the bounce pass a fumble. -

As long as they're not forward passes, you can use them on trick plays. -
Would you risk early pick on Peyton Wilson?

I'd chance the second 2nd rounder on him -
I remember @Waldo, you, and me not liking it. But we were definitely in the minority.

And sadly that made most of the posters here happy at that time. They bought into the line about all the players except the top 15 being nearly the same in Fitterer and Rhule's eyes. "We got a real GM because he's working the draft!" was a common comment despite giving up better talent for warm bodies.
-
They said that about 3 QBs in the top 5 last year and it happened. They said the same about a TE in the top 10 and the Falcons took Pitts top 5 or 6. I doubt it happens too, but never say never.
-
Don't trade the pick. Just take the best player available. The team needs talent, not just bodies.
