No, I don't think the Panthers have a realistic shot at the playoffs even if they win tomorrow. That Oline is just too much to overcome and good teams have proven they can expose the defense.

I agree with you about picking a clear plan for the future, but disagree with you about picking in the teens being purgatory. Unlike most years in the NBA, in the NFL you can get great talent to build around in the teens just because there are a lot more players to choose from.

I disagree with this. Drafting a QB every year is a waste as they will never have time to develop. None of the better run teams do this and at best draft a guy in the mid to late rounds every 3-4 years. Since backups don't get many snaps, you have to give them at least a couple years to see if they can be more than whatever it was that made you draft them in the first place, which is presumably a good college QB.

Between 6-9 wins is still where this team will end up.

Love the optimism, but I think the Hornets will need a better center and defense to get that high of a seed. Sunday's game against the Warriors will be a big early season test.
