  1. Henderson is healthy, yet can't see the field, that makes it a waste of a draft pick. Darnold was an attempt at a swing for the fences. The belief was that with a better supporting cast and coaching a young QB with NFL experience would be able to play batter. Sadly, that belief was misguided. Darnold just doesn't have it, nor was he given better coaching, game planning, or better Oline. Both failures rest on Rhule and Tepper.
  2. With the way the college season has gone, who the heck knows who goes where when it comes to the QBs.
  3. Because they will need something to sell to the fans to get them to come to games for one. Two, the there will be pressure to get it right this time. I agree that Rhule won't get fired. Brady will probably be sacrificed, if he doesn't leave on his own to buy Rhule more time. Rhule can also point to injuries to his key free agent linemen he signed as a reason the offense sucked and Darnold as well.
  4. There will be more pressure to take one this go round. They've had two strikes so far and Tepper will want something to sell to the fans. Howell is a home state and UNC guy that will sell tickets to certain parts of the fanbase. He'll also be a shiny new QB that others will get excited about. Of course, if they go after Watson, despite the legal issues if they are still there, all bets are off and the Panthers won't have a first round pick.
  5. I think they go QB in the first even if it's over drafting one. If there when the Panthers pick, Howell will probably be the guy too.
  6. I turned the game off and started watching college volleyball. It was more entertaining and competitive.
  7. It's bad when Hornet fans are dunking on the Panthers and Darnold.
  8. I think one is just as bad as the other. That Oline couldn't even block a toddler and Sam just can't make the reads/throws.
  9. Yelp. That's all she wrote. Enjoy the rest of the comedy of errors as the announcers just said. I'm going to go write for a while.
  10. I agree, but feel they'll go QB due to pressure to make yet another change.
  11. Sam Howell, come on down. You're the next constant on the panthers QB wish list. I don't know if Howell will be good or bad, but feel he's the pick if there.
  12. True, but guys like him aren't in the habit of just pissing away their money either. Rhule won't be fired for at least another couple of years.
  13. Rhule is rewarding some of his former college players. Grier outplayed PJ in the preseason, yet PJ is the one that got to stay.
  14. I can't stand the Pats, but they adjust their gameplans to their roster better than any other team. When they had Moss and the other WRs, they used them. When they had the TEs, they used them. Now they have RBs and a rookie QB, so the RBs. Meanwhile the Panthers' coaches can't adjust anything.
  15. Part of it is money. He's part of the elite wealth in the country and I can't see him not caring about making more. The other part is ego. Being an NFL owner makes him part of an elite club that only has 32 spots in it.
  16. The Panthers are not a well coached team for one.
  17. A yikes and great play by Burns at the same time. Hope he's alright.
  18. They ran Chuba instead of CMC on first down? It's going to snow
  19. Sounds more like a Pats home game than Panthers, but I'm not surprised. Ticket holders here have always been quick to sell their tickets to opposing teams' fans.
  20. The Pats are going to kill the Panthers Defense with Foxball
