  1. Ding, ding, ding. We have a winner. Reich was fired because Bryce was about to get benched after the last two games. Be damn what Tepper wanted. It wasn't some coaches, it was most of the offensive coaches involved. Reich, McCown, Brown and Staley. Couldn't really let Brown go, wouldn't have had enough staff on offense. So he got to stay.
  2. Lie in public and coaches will talk behind your back to each other.
  3. Canty mentioned on air that someone in the building texted him and told him that in the weekly meetings Tepper was demanding plays and schemes be added into that week's gameplan.
  4. Of course it's coming, Tepper has someone at head coach that will listen and let him interject himself into gameplanning. Which he's been trying to do and word is its the reason frank took back playcalling because Thomas was listening to tepper on what plays to add for the week and schemes to add.
  5. Reports coming out of the building that Tepper forced himself into game planning the last few weeks and demanded certain plays and schemes be used.
  6. It was obvious on tape and it's why I had him as qb3 behind Stroud and AR. He lead all draft eligible qb's in qb generated pressure, hits and sacks. Meaning he was responsible for him getting pressured, hit and sacked more than any other draftable qb's and it wasn't close actually. All of his draft profiles mention his tendency to go off script and not throw on time. They all mention his arm strength and frame as well. It was widely known, scouts thought his brain and processing would make up for the above eventually. His tendency to go off script and wait longer than drop backs were designed for is also a reason his footwork looks so bad. 3 step and 5 step drops are mostly timing routes. Step , step , step, hitch and throw. Repeat for 5 step drops. They are also typically designed to go to one spot on the field with a quick read above or below the intial read. If not there hitch and checkdown or throw away. Watch his footwork during a game and you'll see what I mean. I still think he can be a good qb, but he needs more around him then Stroud or AR (if he stays healthy) will need to win.
  7. I'm ok with the Mingo pick based on how the team is scouting with analytics. I wish they weren't so analytics driven though. Bryce needs a good team around him, he isn't going to elevate anyone, the offense they want to run with him from Alabama needs all-pro's outside at skill positions. I don't get why he was the number 1 qb prospect. All these things show up in his college tape. Bad footwork Doesn't throw on time and goes off schedule too much when it isn't needed. Bad reading of blitzes and where he needs protection. Small and thin Arm strength average None of that screams number 1 pick.
  8. No, when the Vegas odds for the Panthers next coach went up Bill was on the list at like 5th or 6th best odds. He's also not the only person to mention it
  9. 2001 was completely ran by Jack Bushofsky and Hurney. even if no one wants to give Hurney any credit.
  10. Young was my qb3 in the draft, I had Stroud and Richardson above him. Young had the highest floor but lowest ceiling ans it wasn't close. Add in the size issues on top of that and yea I don't see why he was qb1. Even his tape doesn't show qb1 in last years draft.
  11. I told everyone that Brown and Reich's offense was designed for CJ and not Young. Tepper ruined this staff's chance before it started
  12. He didn't want to be here because of the draft situation and the Teppers constantly meddling with the staff.
  13. One of the biggest problems and he had this at Alabama but it wasn't an issue because of the talent gap. He can't read defenses and slide his protection. Combine that with a sub par pass pro line and his height and that equals a disaster that you're currently seeing.
  14. Tepper overruled the staff and front office. 100% can confirm is a fact. Everyone went along with it because he would've pink slipped people that didn't agree with him and his wife's take to draft Young. The original plan was to draft Stroud at #2 but the deal fell through and the team was going to stand pat at #9 going into draft night and try to move to 3 with Arizona. Tepper didn't have the patience for that and called the Bears and gave up a ransom to get his QB over his entire staff and front office.
  15. Tepper is impatient enough that Bryce will have to make a huge jump next year to still be here in 2025.
  16. Nah, Tepper will cut bait after next season unless Bryce takes off and is a pro bowler. He's that impatient and that's what a draft pick will have here in Carolina while he is pushing himself and his wife into having final choice on football decisions.
  17. Nfl media is already reporting that Tepper made the decision to draft Young over Reich. It's on Twitter from profootballtalk and others
  18. Well Tepper let Hurney hire Rhule and since then and forever more probably not again. Lol
  19. He's a yes man 100%. I don't think people understand how much influence David and Nicole have on football decisions.
  20. His problem from Bama is showing up more in the NFL when talent is pretty much equal. He can't read a front 7 on the defense and set his protection properly. Wasn't an issue much at Bama but has been in the NFL. Unless that's fixed, he won't get better.
  21. I don't believe anything coming out of that building right now. Lmfao.
  22. Yea I don't think he's wanted to be here since right after the draft. Bryce couldn't run the offense him and Brown made and that was made clear when Dalton started
