    I mean Rod's new contract is 2m a season when the average NHL coach contract is 3m roughly. Top 5 coaches make 4.5-6.5m

    Based on everything I've heard from the team internally is that Rod can stay as long as he wants. Mostly because him and his staff are still underpaid and Dundon won't spend top dollar on a staff, so any top names are out.

    Rumors are the team is in fact done with Ikem. So it was going to be a LT, just depended on which one got to them at 19.

    They have 4m in cap space next season and have 9 forwards, 5 defenseman and 2 goalies under contract. Dorofeyev also needs a contract Andersson probably takes the money that Pietra is making on defense.

    It certainly looked better than game 1 vs Montreal did that's for sure. Got to fix the issues and win game 2 and I have faith that Brindy will make sure those issues won't be a problem in game 2.
